@Dmarc That's the only thing worrying me about this game now. Where the hell are all the pedestrians?!?! Everytime I see new footage/gifs I get excited and then realise the streets are empty. I hope it's not going to be a ghost town.

Are you really comparing the original Killzone to Halo:CE?? I'm not even going to entertain that argument. Killzone 1 was a complete mess and Halo:CE was one of the best games of that time. And this is coming from someone who would be mostly pro Sony.
I agree, more variety would've been nice. The side missions really started to remind me of the first Assassins Creed after a while!! It's definitely worth going through again with Evil Karma though, just don't bother with the side missions. I did Good Karma first time too and I had much more fun second time around on Evil. I can't see there being an upgrade option with this. The whole game has been completely remastered and all dlc is included. I hope there is though!!

@cfc78 I actually remember there was a period of about 4 months that I was buying a game, sometimes 2, every week for the PS2!! It had so many good games that all seemed to arrive around the same time. Man that was an expensive few months.
It's not just a different voice actor. His voice was the character. It would be like someone else doing Cartman in South Park. Just wouldn't be the same.
It's a total half assed performance from Sutherland. Hayter was such an intense motherf***er. I have no idea what Kojima was thinking when he thought this was a good idea. Such a shame. Snake will never be the same again.
I must be in the minority of people that enjoyed it judging by everyone's comments here. I thought it was great!! I was such a huge Doom fan I used to imagine at the time what a "current" doom game might have been like even before it was announced. Then when it was revealed it was exactly what I had imagined it would be!! I'm obviously one of the few that really enjoyed it and am looking forward to 4.
That's one of the things I miss most, having a bunch of friends calling over for a gaming session. I'm 34 now and all my friends either "grew out" of games or just aren't interested enough anymore to find time to play so I'm the last of everyone I know that still games passionately. Even though I said I wouldn't, I cracked and ended up getting it. I just needed to play it to see for myself. I thought Delsin would really annoy me but he grew on me. My only problem with the game is that damn dynamic contrast effect they have in it. If I swing the camera to look up towards the sun or a bright light source the whole screen goes so dark I can lose sight of enemies and completely lose orientation. I would say I am impressed, but I'm definitely not blown away like I was with the older gameplay trailers. Going on gameplay it's still day one for me, but I'm still pissed about the gfx downgrade.
If I preordered a 500bhp Ferrari and then they released a video of it not being able to keep up with a ford focus, I'd be pretty pissed and be asking a lot of questions. All they need to do is just take Gears 3 and add to it. Even minor changes like when they added meat shield in 2 and even the cover vault kick in 3. That's all they have to do!! Keep the original foundation and don't go messing with it like they did with judgement. And if they actually do that, MS will have sold another XB1 here anyway.
I think it's good that they're keeping the story a mystery. You don't want them to give away the whole plot while promoting it do you?? And I thought the gameplay looks pretty solid too.
