Im Irish but I haven't got my copy of RDR yet (damn you play.com!!!!). I know for a fact I won't be offended by it. Except for what heroicjanitor said. The only thing that bugs me about Irish characters are very bad accents. As for the boozing?? Sure it's no secret that we love a drink :)
Every frickin time I go into Gamestop lately they tell me, "oh, we just sold the last copy, but we have the special edition for €100". I'm all for special editions when it's extra game content, extra missions etc. Not when it's 10inch figure of Sam Fisher/shoddy night vision goggles/a top hat for the main character etc.

I usually get bored of mp games after a couple of months, but Gears 2 is the only game that always had me coming back for more, and still playing regularly to this day. It's also a good chance for Epic to test things out preparing for 3.

You could leave 100 dead bodies in a room and still not get caught. It's not about "not being there" anymore, but about taking revenge on everyone that stands in the way. It's not like you're not going to take down anyone that you come across anyway, is it?? There's not going to be anyone left to find a dead body!!!!!

I don't get why there's such a big problem with the whole "moving dead bodies" thing. The game has taken a different direction. Sams character is more ruthless, driven by vengeance, wants to punish everyone standing in the path of his daughters killer and doesn't care about covering his tracks. MGS4 was the MAIN reason I bought a PS3 and it turned out to be my least favourite of the series. I thought I was alone in that sentiment. Yeah Im not feeling the black and white thing at all. Worst thing about it is, when you are in darkness and it turns black and white, its nearly impossible to make out the dark/light areas around you and makes it very difficult to stick to the shadows. Im still on the fence with the mark and execute thing too. That's good for the US!! Unfortunately in other places, like Ireland here, 5-7 meg is about the standard speeds that are affordable. You can get speeds much much higher of course, but you'd probably have to empty the entire contents of your bank account to pay for 1 month :P Dirty thieving b*stards!!!!!
How did your friend get the 360 controller open and back together?? The reason I'm asking is, after many years of service I stepped on one of my controllers (wearing my steel toe working boots of course) and the case came apart. I cant get any of the screws out because they actually have studs in the top so I can't get a screwdriver into them to try and get the thing back together!!

Seriously kunit22c, better graphics and more content doesn't necessarily mean it's better.
I absolutely loved UC2, but for me ME2 is definitely the better game. Still on my first playthrough at 32 hours. I'm sure I could've finished the main mission by now, but I'm having too much fun exploring the galaxy/characters and I want to find out everything before I head for the final battle. But, that of course is just my opinion, and everyone is entitled to their own.
I agree jjohan, and I think that's the main reason why most games to movies fail miserably. It's impossible to squeeze storylines that can be 20+ hours long into a 2 hour movie.
