I just got a loan of NG2 off a friend, never got around to getting it when it was released. The camera is driving me absolutely nuts. Everytime you get hit, it swings around and completely disorientates you >:(
I'd take split screen over online anyday. Gears 2 has split screen and there's practically no graphical drop. It's a lot easier then saying, "hey, why don't you call over with your PS3. Oh, and don't forget to bring your 42inch plasma with you" to one of your friends. I'd much rather be in the same room playing with someone rather than over the net.

Just signing out of your profile and back in again brings you to the title screen. A lot quicker than going back to the dash. I think they've fixed practically everything now and I'm really enjoying it. Match making doesn't take long at all. Sometimes there is lag, but it all depends on what time you're playing. How come Vice City is always regarded as being the best GTA??? I thought San Andreas was much better. And I don't know about putting SF IV in there instead of II. I mean, SF IV is fantastic, but a lot of people still play SF II regularly nearly 20 years after release so that has to mean something. I love SF IV too, but I don't think there'll be anywhere near as many people (if any) playing it regularly in 20 years time as there are playing SF II today.

Jeez, I thought Resi and SF IV would be higher. I honestly don't know why Halo is so popular. I thought it was pretty average and stopped playing a few months after release. I'd take Gears over it any day. Maybe Gears 2 will shoot to the top with the release of the patch.

Well if they mess around with the formula too much, it won't be Tekken anymore. If it's not broke, don't fix it!! But I hear you, I'd love to see an ultra realistic fighting game, but not under the Tekken franchise. I'd keep that as it is.
I agree Tony. Multi is usually where you get your moneys worth, and it's pretty cheeky of them to charge extra for it. It's despicable enough if the content is already on the disc. And I think anyone could guarantee that the versus will absolutely suck anyway with those controls.
2 piecing is when you get melee'd and then shot with the shotgun. When you melee, your aim locks to the character for a second so all you have to do is pull the trigger, and that's that! A kill every time and absolutely no skill required, just 2 button presses. Infuriating when you're at the receiving end 5/6 times in a row.
Nope! The update just fixes the problems. If you want the new maps, get your wallet out!!
The customisation/editing in LBP is amazing, but I thought everything falls apart with gameplay. Jump, jump, grab, jump, gets old very quickly.
2 piecing drives me crazy!!! I'd actually be happier to be chainsawed than 2 pieced now it drives me that nuts. Meleeing should be an absolute last resort if your gun runs dry in the middle of a battle, but in Gears 2 it seems to be the shotguns primary attack instead of pulling the trigger, which just doesn't make any sense. No, it's just a patch to fix all the issues. It will automatically download when you load the game any time after it's release.
Unfortunately, in some games the lag is so bad you just have no option but to quit because it's completely unplayable. Bringing up the guide and signing out of Live and back in again is probably the best way to do it. Just brings you back to the main menu and you'll have signed back in by the time it's loaded. But yeah, you should be able to quit from the start button menu.
