I'm loving the campaign and horde mode, but why the hell did they change the online?? There was nothing wrong with it. If you wanted to play Execution, you just searched and got a list of joinable Execution matches and within seconds you're in a game. If you wanted to play Warzone, you just searched...........etc. etc. Why the hell did they have to change it?? I absolutely despised the matchmaking in Halo 3, and Gears 2 seems to be pretty similar. Well I certainly got my moneys worth with the countless hours I spent on multi player and I'm sure I'll get that same value with Gears 2. Did you not like the mp in the first Gears??
I'd nearly put Dead Space in there as a contender for goty too. EA totally redeemed themselves there. In the meantime, roll on Friday for some Gears 2 :)

Bloody hell is right. Didn't HE play the last one?? I think Far Cry is still up there with the best of the best when it comes to FPS. I loved that game. I'm having lots of fun with Far Cry 2 at the moment, but yes, waaaaay too big and a little repetitive. It'd probably have been better if it wasn't sandbox like the first one. I'd still give it an 8/1...
Anyone else tired of them??? They just seem like a total cop out from the developers and are totally pointless. In SW:TFU for example, what was the point in having these great lightsaber duel scenes when you couldn't even enjoy watching them because you're too busy looking at the bottom of the screen for the next prompt?!?! Gears is average?? You've got some pretty high standards there. If Gears is average, what magical games are you playing that no one else knows about?? Gears is one of the best games this gen.

What is it about LBP that I just dont get?? I mean, am I missing something there that everyone else can see??? Customization is all well and good, but I think I'd be bored after 3min of playing. It's no more innovative than the original Mario on the NES!!! I just can't understand all the fuss over this game.
What exactly did the Cagney update include?? I downloaded it alright but only played the game for about 20min after and the only differences I noticed was the new menus. Have I completely missed something there??
After playing the demo this was a definite buy for me. These reviews are a little worrying though. I'll probably get it anyway because I'm a big Star Wars fan and there hasn't really been any good games out in months now.
I really dont understand all this hate for GTA IV. True, it wasn't as much "fun" as the GTA III series but it was still a great game which I had a hell of a lot more enjoyment from than Saints Row 1. And when people say GTA IV online is broke, I presume these people have never played Saints Row 1. Now, that was broke.

Completely agree. I really can't see what all the hype is over LBP. It's no more innovative than what Sega did with a little blue hedgehog nearly 2 decades ago. The amount of editing/customising is very impressive, but what's left to do after that? Collect bubbles? :¬\
Yeah, Manga did a feature length movie in the early/mid nineties. It's pretty cool. If you liked that you'll love the film.
