blame the developer again. EA always supports the winner. Last gen it was PS2. This gen it is 360.
Yeah it is pretty stupid for a company to try and make money.
I guess EA should make the PS3 version of games the best bc PS3 has the lowest install base and the lowest games attach rate.
So they stand in the end to make the least money on PS3. Think about it for a second.

The system with the highest install base gets the support. It was PS2 last generation. It wasn't that the PS2 was a great piece of hardware or easier to program. It was just that companies saw the biggest returns bc on PS2 they could sell the most copies of a particular game. In fact last gen PS2 had the weakest hardware.
This gen companies can see the most return on the 360 bc of the big install base. And now developers aren't forced to cope with Sony's hard to code hardw...

There are 3 parts that matter in making games CPU, GPU, and ram. 360 wins in these depts for overall "gaming" performance.
could not run this game with it's lopsided architecture and crippled RSX GPU. The framerate would surely be subpar with only 256megs of video ram.
I'm sure that Irrational Games and 2K only wanted to release optimal versions and not let the game quality suffer. Just look at what happened to Madden.

if this is pushed to January. There are still 3 killer RPGs coming out before Christmas. Eternal Sonata, Blue Dragon and Mass Effect.
One thing is for sure. There 360 lineup is looking very promising for both JRPG fans as well as WRPG fans this year.

The only differences you might see are color variations bc of the different GPUs.

If you look at the games catalogue for 360 before Christmas it has 4 "exclusive" RPGS coming. Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect, and Eternal Sonata. Also it has the best versions of Madden, NCAA, and All-Pro. And the best online FPS to grace a console, Halo ...
