With their latest dud (Hour of Victory) rating 2/10 I have lost faith in Midway.
Take MK back to it's roots and I will buy it. The last great game I played from Midway was Hydrothunder on Dreamcast.
It is like a wish list of Halo fans from Halo 2.
All of the new weapons, armor types, and even the equipment is awesome.
Come Sept.25th a lot of fans are going to be happy.

I used to onely play Slayer in Halo2 but after playing Big Team for a while I was hooked.
With all the new vehicles, equipment, and weapons Halo3 is going to be a blast.

as of now. HD media has only a 5% saturation into the market. Sony wanted to speed up the process of addoption of Blu ray through the PS3.
Truth be told it took DVD over a decade to become the standard over VHS. And to this day VHS is still being sold.

I would say that the 360 is the most well rounded machine genre wise right now.
One thing is for sure if you prefer RPGs it is the system of choice this year at least. With Eternal Sonata, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, and Mass Effect right around the corner.
The original XBOX did have a large proportion of FPS. With the 360 Microsoft has a lot more diversity to their line up.
graphics can "enhance" gameplay. But a game can have the poorest graphics ever and excel in gameplay.
A good example of this is tetris. It is totally addicting just from a gameplay standpoint.
All the while employing very primitive graphics.
Great gameplay will stand the test of time. Great graphics are subjective to the timeframe in which the game is released.

It is probably full of suspense. The last time I played a game where I felt that was Condemned at launch.
Bioshock is bring something totally fresh by molding FPS and survival/horror.
With the rave reviews I am expecting something really exceptional.
