I have 2 RPGs for my 360. Oblivion and Enchanted arms. And in a few months I plan on buying Mass Efect, Eternal Sonata, Blue Dragon, and Lost Odyssey.
RPG is my favorite genre and PS3 has no RPGs coming out anytime soon.

I honestly believe that it could give Crysis some competition.
There is no doubt that Crysis will be awesome.
But it is comparing EA to Ubisoft. For overall talent I would give it to Ubisoft anyday. Most of their games portfolio are AAA titles. And the Chaos Theory team did an awesome job for Splinter Cell 3.
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is going to be awesome too, I wonder if Ninja Gaiden2 will be at this show also.

gaming culture is just different. Look at the types of games that are popular there. Anime type games or dating simulations. Even the PC games that are sold well there are far different than what is popular in the USA and Europe.
I do however agree that the XBOX brand will never be all that popular there. There seems to be a trend with Japanese gamers sticking with Japanese consoles.
Even the Segs Saturn, Dreamcast, and TG16 were successes in Japan.

It does get all the PS3 fanboys panties in a bunch.. Nothing more. May I ask all the PS3 fanboys above me what type of stereo equipment you have to take advantage of all the uncompressed audio?? A good stereo receiver to take full advantage of this sound is well over $1000 dollars. Not to mention a good set of speakers is a few thousand.

before that one of the main things Vista was going to do was force PC makers to stop puting crappy integrated GPUs into PCs. SO most average PC's would be more PC game friendly.

I have read the review of this game stating it was rather short.
Another funny thing is that all 3rd party games are "all" on one disk on both systems. And if a game didn't fit just put it on 2 DVDs. Once again Sony trying to justify trying to force the adoption of Bluray through the PS3 to win the format war.

There are many "HD"TV's that are 720P max resolutuion.

But Metroid has a legendary status in my book. Just like Zelda does. I have been playing Meroid ever since the NES days.
I would rank Super Metroid for SNES as one of the greatest games of all time. It is one of the few games I have played through again just to get a 100% completion score to unlock all the easter eggs.
I was just thinking the exact same thing. Isn't it kind of ironic that a truly "next gen" quality title like this is priced the same as the movie-licensed rubbish that is stamped out every year?
Not to mention EAs constant copy and paste rehashes of their franchises every year.
On a positive note though Microsoft is really pushing the advertising for this game. It was on TV as well as the demo being a suprise release on XBOX Live.
