That's my concern. Seemed to cliched to do something like Metroid Prime did where you start out with full power, some event happens, and basically start over learning your powers again through skill trees, but what else can you do except make everyone else stronger. I like how they did wit MoS, where you were basically normal in Kryptonian atomosphere and not super weak and incapacitated like other Superman entries.
It sucks and people that did this should be removed...from everything permanently, but leaks aren't that hard to avoid or otherwise ignore. Also, If you aren't one to buy games day 1, this is just like any other game release. Smash is a little harder to avoid, but it can be done if you really want to avoid spoilers.
Gamexplain does this horribly, on day 1, you can see all bosses, all endings, etc. Just don't watch the videos.

This is the only answer. Finally someone with sense. if it came down to allowing Bayonetta or this minor character, they probably had to make a choice. Everyone has to conform to the ratings board if they want to maintain a certain rating. Don't want to restrict sales by removing a large part of your market.
They should have done something similar with 1-2 Switch like they did with Wii Play and Motion. This bundle is pretty cool though.

I'm not sure I would call Bully open world, but it was great regardless. L.A. Noire is criminally underrated imo. It lacked the do anything to anyone aspect of the other games, but it was just as engaging and creative.
I've literally played 2 of these prior to them being on the Switch, one with any time at all. I am very happy they are available, even if I'm not getting all of them.

If it keeps game at $60, then I have no problem with microtransactions of the sort described. Paying to level up in a multiplayer game to gain advantage would be a problem, but in a single player game, there is no reason to for any of us to care.

I had an NES, sure there is nostalgia, but I also didn't have a majority of these games on it. What I really want is the SNES, because I went straight from NES to Genesis and never had a SNES. I played a few on virtual console before, but most I haven't tried.

Hopefully it will continue to grow. As it stands, I've not played most of these games provided. They are fun for a short time, but only if I am basically desperate. As you say, they haven't aged very well. They really should have modernized the controls to support more than two buttons. Hitting two buttons to jump in the two beatem ups is kind of strange when we have 4-6 other buttons we could use that aren't being used.
