I was about to flip! I pre-ordered HITMAN 3 back on August 27 at that price. (I had to look up my receipt to be sure.) It's not a glitch, error, etc. It's an on-going pre-order deal that lasts until the game releases in January.
And that's fine. It's not for everyone. But it's not a big deal for those it is for. If your neighbor painted his living room wall a color you don't like are you going to stress over it? Get into a fight with him about it? Of course not. This and every theme is exactly the same thing.
I don't see why people are making such a fuss about this. Unless you download it and display it yourself on your own PS4, you'll never see it. Does it really matter that much to you that the BLM supporter next door has this on his personal PS4? Sony has released gay pride themes before. It's no different. So chill out, let people who support it display it in peace and go about life as you normally would completely unaffected by it.
I leave my Xbox One X on all day, so I'm staring at it's UI quite a bit. It's great, but it doesn't excite me. The Xbox Series S/X is going to be using that same UI. I have a problem with that. If I'm spending $500 on a new console, I want that console to offer me a NEW experience. Staring at the same UI I'm use to seeing does nothing for me. That PS5, tho.. now that's something NEW. The PS4 has been my secondary console the last few years - it was my primary til...
For the most part, yea. GameStop employees are not going to convince PlayStation fans to switch sides. They could probably persuade undecided and ignorant buyers to choose Xbox over PlayStation, tho, but it'll hardly have an impact on sales.
I see this partnership as a win-win. More so for Microsoft, as it's their products that's going to be pushed directly to the gamers that still shop at GameStop. It's a small boost to keep GameStop going alittle longer, but it's only a matter of time...and I'm sure Microsoft and GameStop both know it.. that GameStop will go bankrupt. So, Microsoft is using them while they can. Good for them.
Robinson: The Journey is the only one I have. It's a nice looking PSVR game that would probably look amazing with ray tracing, but the controls were horrible. Early PSVR horrible. I bought it on sale, tho, so no big loss.
I doubt it'll be free, but I could see a remaster like Spider-Man in the works for GoT and TLOU2.
Play it some. See how gorgeous a game it is even on PS4, so that when you see it on PS5 you'll know first-hand how much better it is.
I haven't been in a GameStop in ages. It use to be my favorite store. I still see no reason to go back.
LOL.. I don't know you. WhyTF would I care if you respect me or not?
I usually play a game on Normal. If I like it, maybe I'll play it on a higher difficulty next play-through. But if I'm renting it or borrowing the game, I speed run and try to knock it out fast on Easy. But play on whatever difficulty that makes it fun for you. If it stresses you out, because it's too hard, it's not worth playing and it's not worth stressing to impress others playing a meaningless game on a too high difficulty.
Sony and Microsoft take turns playing the bad guy. Right now, its Sony's turn. But if one bought the other, gaming would take a serious hit as greed would get crazy out of hand. Competition makes things a million times better.
Eh, I'm fine w this. It'll get me started, but at some point, as my game count increases, like a lot of gamers, I'll invest in extra storage.
That's my biggest gripe about GamePass. I buy a game, like Doom Eternal and then in a blink, it's on GamePass and I'm feeling regret buying it. That makes me really hesitant to buy any games on Xbox.
Exclusives only matter if they're super good.
I don't think it's right that they're not offering an upgrade option to PS4 owners of 2018's Spider-Man, nor an upgrade to Ultimate Edition option if you make the mistake of buying the standard edition of Miles Morales.
A lot of work went into enhancing the game, so I don't expect it to be a free upgrade, but at least be reasonable about it.
For everything you're getting an extra $20 isn't that much. Plus, the price will go down eventually - they always do, so wait a few more months and get MMUE on sale.
I'm not that big of a fan of Bethesda, so this doesn't really bother me. There are only 3 companies I follow that if Microsoft bought and made exclusive to Xbox would instantly have me regretting my PS5 pre-order. But I do plan on picking up an Xbox Series eventually.. probably when the "pro" model comes out. That's probably around time time we'll get the first major release from this acquisition.
So what about people who pre-ordered the PS5, but won't receive their console till later, like in January. Can they still they Bugsnax?
