IDK if that rumor is true or not, but given some of the things a company like Apple has been caught doing, I wouldn't dismiss the possibility Ubisoft purposefully did this on Microsoft's behalf. But we'll likely never know. So, oh well.

I finally picked this up for $20. Enjoying it so far. I'd gotten it a long time ago, but I saw it had a season pass and those tend to turn me off paying full price for a game.

I picked up my Xbox One controller the other day, that I have been using the past 3 years, and it just did not feel right anymore. 1 week with the DualSense and there is just no going back, even after getting use to the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers where I don't conciously notice them anymore, but handling a controller without them doesn't feel right without them now.

Innovation, taking risks is what's kept PlayStation ahead of Xbox. Sometimes it pays off, as we're seeing with the DualSense and sometime it doesn't, the Vita (although I'd say it was ahead of it's time). Xbox would rather play it safe.

WWE 2K19 was amazing, but then the developer, Yuke's, left with a lot of the code and the secondary development team (who had worked on the games in the past), Visual Concepts, came in and had to basically build WWE 2K20 from scratch in a very short period of time. So, no surprise 2K20 majorly sucked and was a bugged out mess. But for what it was, Visual Concepts did an amazing job.. they just needed more time. That's why I'm optimistic WWE 2K22 might be better than 2K19. 2K ski...

Stiff competition in the marketplace w Spider-Man Miles Morales, a new Call Of Duty and Assassin's Creed, as well as new consoles have probably hurt sales. That sucks for the developers, but great for us gamers.

Are they, tho? I mean, we know there is more than likely going to be pro versions at some point. The pros will be the ones that truly target 4k/8k and 120fps. Right now, until they actually achieve it, it's just marketing hoopla.

I got 12 games on my SSD, which include Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales, Demon's Souls, Call Of Duty BO Cold War, Fortnite, and Astro's Playroom. The others are PS4 games, like Uncharted 4, Horizon, and Rocket League. So you can put quite a bit on the 667 GB they give you. Call Of Duty, tho.. ugh! SSD killer!

I feel like you shouldn't. The game is super early in development and will be using next-now-current gen hardware with fresh insight on today's product. Shut up and give the game a chance.

I've heard COD is a step back from last year's and a lot of the PS5's crashing/bricking issues always seem to involve people trying to play COD, so I'm not touching that game. Nope!

I think Hollywood films will becoming increasingly more like video games in the future, especially as the world embraces the "new normal" from the pandemic. It makes sense, as games like Spider-Man: Miles Morales showcase just how realistically we're reaching in graphical capabilities, as well as showcase extreme action sequences in spectacular ways. And as time goes by, it'll get easier and cheaper to produce such "art", as well as create new star "actors&q...

I like that PlayStation is innovative and takes risk, like with PSVR and now the DualSense controller, while Xbox rarely steps out of it's bubble and sticks to playing it safe.

I'm fine w 8 hours. I get wanting the most out of your money, but a 20 to 50 hour game feels like overkill and I start to lose interest and not finish. 8 to 12 hours is perfect for me.

Sony has had a weaker console compared to Microsoft for a long time, but that hasn't stopped them from creating the best looking console games to date. There is nothing on Xbox that comes close to how good games like God Of War, Ghost Of Tushima, and The Last Of Us part 2. The "most powerful console" gimmick is great marketing material, but without a studio able to actually use it.. it's worthless.

I pre-ordered thru Amazon and was feeling good, but then they sent out that mass email saying they can't guarantee a PS5 at launch. And here we are now, less than 2 weeks till launch, and other retailers are sending out notices to let people know they're PS5 is about to ship or to make reservations for pickup, and my Amazon order still just says "has not shipped yet". So I don't know if I'll have one around launch day or if I'll be waiting a few months. In the m...

But is there going to be a PS4 version for PSVR support?

2038d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

This could also mean PSVR 2 will be sooner than later since VR players will be deprived for so long. Sony has already said it's not happening in 2021, but 2022 is a real possibility

I don't understand how this is going to work for a game like Hitman that gets a free upgrade to PS5. Does this mean I won't be able to play Hitman 3 in VR at all on my PS5 or will I need 2 copies -a PS5 and a PS5 version- installed?

2040d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

That's not at all surprising. You have to build the foundation (PS5 player base) before you begin adding layers (PSVR 2). Without a solid foundation to support the layers, everything comes rumbling down. So, it should have been expected Sony would spend 2021 building up the PS5 foundation, getting the console in as many homes as possible, before releasing a likely $300 to $500 extra accessory like PSVR 2.
