I won't buy a season pass until I complete what is on the disc. By then, I'll know if I've had enough or If I liked it enough to want more. Plus, if it takes me particularly long to get through the game (maybe because other games came out around the sametime), I might get lucky and catch the season pass on sale if I still want it.
I'm playing Watch_Dogs right now. Tons of stuff to do in that game, but I have very little gaming time right now. It'll pr...
LOL.. just makes me think of all those "rental" debates Xbox fans had with the Sony fans. I'm betting right now, the Xbox fans are loving the Games With Gold, despite the lack of newer games - thank Sony for it, because the only reason Microsoft even began Games With Gold is to compete with Sony. Sony is the reason for no Kinect, no DRM...
Competition ISN't just good. IT's GREAT!
I think it's too early to judge a console after only 6 months. They are still working out the kinks, developers are still learning what limits they can push, while at the same time trying not to offend those still playing the now "last gen" consoles and so on. 6 months later, I think the best you can say is "it's off to a great start, but what I really would like to know is where is it going to be 6 years from now."
The PS4's (and Xbox One...
Exactly. I know an Iraq war vet who suffers from PTSD that doesn't go anywhere without his PS Vita. I also suffer from a major depressive disorder and look to video games as an escape. I understand games can get frustrating at times and stressful, but I know well enough to put the controller down and take a break after a couple of hours, because I know it's JUST A VIDEO GAME. There is no true commitment to it and I can pick up and play anytime I want. Not like other things going ...
So 3 or 4 teens commit suicide and you blame a video game that's been played a billion times over by millions of people all over the world? Ridiculous.
Has this doctor/coroner ever consider these teens just happened to play Call Of Duty as a way to escape whatever was going wrong in their lives that might have stressed them to the point of suicide? These teens were obviously gamers - what other games did they play? Why not blame those games? They were students - strai...
Pre-ordered Destiny today actually just for the Beta access. If the beta leaves me wanting more, I'll happily buy the game. If not, I'll just put my pre-order money on something else. Easy enough.
A lot of the hidden achievements (not all of them) are hidden, because they'll spoil the game's storyline. So they're not all bad.
I agree. I use to love getting achievements on the Xbox 360.. I'm at over 100K. I liked the simplicity of the list of achievements and the little icon that went along with them. Then I got the Xbox One and the new structure just does nothing for me. I hate it. Chasing achievements on the Xbox One is not as much fun and I don't even care to have them anymore.

It's just box art. Have you ever heard the phrase, "Don't judge a book by it's cover"?
I have no regrets buying early, as I've used my Xbox One every single day for TV purposes. I have a 6 year old, so Kinect is great for her to play games, but the only game she can really play is Kinect Sports Rivals, which got delayed and finally came out just last month. So, I'm alittle ticked about that.
Personally, since KSR got pushed back and there were no real Kinect games made available for the Xbox One it's first 6 months on the market, I do feel early a...
I don't see how Kevin Spacey being in the game makes the gameplay any different, but the internet is blowing up like this is the greatest thing ever for the COD series. No offense to Kevin Spacey, he's a great actor, but he's not one of those top grossing actors that draw people to the box office.
The beginning of the game isn't necessarily the best part of the game, but then, if I played the best part of the game in the demo, that could lead to biggest expectations and a bigger letdown if I end up buying the full game.
I love demos. I think with PS+ you play the game for an hour and then you can continue where you left off if you buy the full game. That's the way I would prefer a demo that's more than 30 minutes long be handled, but I guess it would depe...
I loved SR3, so I have to go with Xbox this month, even though I played the hell out of it already and unlocked all the trophies on it and it's DLC. Still great f'n game.
That's what I was thinking. In fact, I think countless studies has shown just the opposite. She's clearly just one of those lawmakers that sit around thinking up things she thinks justify her job as a "lawmaker" and make her a favorite among the mid-age and older voters. It's all politics, all the time.
I guess the fanboy wars will never end. I know before the Xbox One and PS4 released, I got ridiculously sick of it.. to the point I stopped reading these comments so much. Fact is, fanboyism is stupid and as gamers, we should hope that Microsoft AND Sony do well competing against one another, because WE, the gamers, are the true winners. If only Sony existed, prices would be ridiculous, console gaming would be dead. Same if there was only Microsoft. We get to enjoy what we love, because ...
I would say YES, if they expect us to pay full price for a game we already own. I would personally LOVE to be able to play my PS3 digital copies on my PS4 (particularly GTAV, Batman: Arkham Origins and Tomb Raider), but I wouldn't pay more than $10 to upgrade IF the game has been enhanced. When GTAV comes to PS4, if it hasn't been enhanced, they should allow us to upgrade for free.
I like the lightbar, but after I updated my PS4 this morning, I set the lightbar to "dim" to save on battery life. It didn't dim it much, but better than nothing, I guess.
I'm really looking forward to Watch_Dogs. It looks like my kinda gameplay.. and I was pretty much sold on it when I saw a video months ago of Aiden in a deli and a customer recognized him. He had to stop the guy from reporting him. I thought that was really cool and the type of thing that'll keep you on your toes.
I just wonder if there will be an upgrade option if you have the digital game already on PS3. I was only about 30% of the way through GTA5 when I got my PS4 and haven't played it since.
