CB has done a good job steering himself away from the Gears franchise. I mean, it's still his baby and he'll always be associated with it, but he's done well moving away from it.
Hideo Kojima is the most over-rated developer on the planet.
Beta access for $40? Uh, no, but this is still a great remaster and a FUN game to revisit all these years later. I'm seeing stuff I question rather or not was there originally, so in some ways, while it's still Gears, it's almost like an all-new experience. Gears MP has always been one of my top favorites. I'm not particularly good at it, but I have a blast cussing myself (and others)(to myself) while playing it, because I get so caught up in it. This is one of the few Xb...
My "gamer chair" has a couple of USB ports, so I can charge and game at the same time. So, no need for this.
If you're gonna be that obvious about stealing it, it's better to just walk out the front door with it as if they refused to accept it as a return. I actually know people who have done this successfully.
I see the game bombing. The set pieces are too many and too expensive and the LEGO brand, as if it wasn't already going stale, will only go more stale that much faster. I have Disney Infinity 2.0 and we're getting 3.0, but only because my 7 year old daughter loves it and I think the characters are pretty cool collectibles. LEGO Dimensions doesn't interest us at all.
Gamers these days talk like those old timers who reflect on how hard they had it back in their day. They're spoiled to their times. I admit, game designers have laid back on the difficulty levels due to the shortening attention span of a growing world, but I think it depends on the individual on how they see games as being better or worst. Myself, for example, I love the stunning graphics, sound and somewhat ease of being able to sit back and enjoy a game without stressing trying to ge...
So, I guess there will be over 119 unique superstars now.
I'm sure Sony is contracted to release whatever and when. Probably months ahead of time. Same with Xbox Games with Gold. Easier and cheaper to put up indy titles than triple-A titles.
$30 was a bit much for me, but I took advantage of the game + season pass PSN $10 cheaper deal.
Great game, but there are 1000s of games I can put time into before replaying (or buying again) something I've already played.
I'M SO going to do this! Right after I cut all my fingers off and draw smiley people with my bloody stub of digits.
No. Whoever made Origins will keep it going. You don't just drop a million dollar franchise in the video game market - too many failures in the game business to let a winner drop out.
Point Lookout was my favorite, too. Fallout: New Vegas was such a disappointment I never even finished the game or play any of it's DLC.
Fallout 3 and it's DLC was all great, but I really have no desire to play it all over again. When it comes to gaming, I like to move foward, not backwards.
Click bait.
The Arkham Knight's Batmobile is a perfect blend of all the past Batmobiles. It and Chris Nolan's Tumbler rank top of my list.
I love how they pitch the sh*t out of it making it sound so great. Does anyone fall for that still?
*SPOILER* It's just another variation to the Jason Todd story. Rocksteady made it their own; as they have with all the other rogues. Future comics could easily use the Arkham Knight and Red Hood as split personalities of Jason Todd, making him a much more interesting character and more-so a vigilante in his own right. I've always compared the Red Hood to The Punisher. The Arkham Knight is Batman's version of Superman's Bizarro.
I still have my PS3, too.. mainly for it's blue ray and entertainment apps. I rarely ever play games on it; even though I have quite the digital library.
If Playstation supports backwards compatibility, that would add a LOT of games to my PS4 library. I can see 'renting' games I don't own/have, but not the ones I do.
CB can be a jerk - a role he plays up mostly for his own entertainment. HK, on the other hand, acts as though he's the Kanye West of video games. People buy in to it. Why? I'll never know.
