Sheep. No testicles. Sony could throw you a nickle and you would act like that's too much. You forget that this has happened before. That in 2011 it cost Sony over $170 million and that a simple $5 million investment in security could have prevented it from happening again. You can say Sony is the victim. They are. Of their own stupidity. They made themselves easy targets. This goes beyond PSN, but Sony Studios, as well. As the consumers we have every right to stand up and complain. If yo...
What? Nevermind. Just shut up.
I don't want to spend $50. I don't have it to spare at the moment, but I'd be happy being able to pick up some LittleBigPlanet DLC or whatnot.
I'm a PS4 fan, but I really hope Microsoft takes this opportunity to really stick it to Sony on it's offerings. Sony left the door wide open for them.
I personally don't think Sony should go all out on winning us back over as they did back in 2011 - major timeframe difference there. But I do think Sony's offerings are weak. 5 days of PS+ - awesome, but it's pretty standard for them to give back what we lost. The 10% is the big slap in the face. Thats $1 off of every $10 you spend. So to get anything out of it, you have to spend BIG money. I would have been happier with a $5 or $10 PSN credit that I could spend on some DLC ...
5 days, a month.. it's really all the same, because at the end of their subscription period, most gamers will renew anyway. The 10% off a CART of products is decent and can save you a lot of money.. if you spend a lot of money. So, I see this as a poor offering on Sony's part. A game would have been nicer, even select DLC -- I've been eyeballing that Far Cry 4 Season Pass, but at $30. Yikes! I can get it for $27 now. Woo not so hoo. :(
Woohooo! That's .20 cents off that Buzz Lightyear 'LittleBigPlanet' costume! To infinity and beyond!!!
HYPE. I hate that word. It usually leads to disappointment.
They should tell their parents.
No love here. Then again, PSN is down in the US, so maybe they are holding out on giving us some free goodies?
I have Battlefield 4 on disc already, but never play it, because I'm too lazy to swap disc, even though I also have the season pass. So, $12 for a digital copy sounds great and I can probably get my money back selling my physical copy.. maybe more.
I wonder why they didn't include it in the season pass?
I love competition. A winner are we.
How come we're not holding Sony accountable for promising a AAA title (Drive Club) on Day 1 of the PS4 launch? I mean, that was one of the reasons we bought a PS4; a guaranteed game, and here we are a year later and they have failed to deliver.
Drive Club already discounted. By the time PS+ users get it, it'll already be a bargain bin game.
The Amazon, some tropical paradise w/ ocean play.
I've lost interest after Assassin's Creed II, but bought III anyway - ended up hardly playing it. Then IV had the pirates theme going for it, so I had to have that - never finished it. I passed over Unity completely and I will over the next.
Being the owner of both the PS4 and Xbox One, I appreciate Microsoft's effort. As little as their offerings were, they were still way more than Sony's. I use my Xbox One and PS4 every day and Microsoft has done a phenomenal job in turning things around for the Xbox One. In the meantime, my fears of Sony letting success goto it's head, seem to be coming true. These next few years are going to be interesting.
I dunno. I think Uncharted 4 will be the game to judge the new generation, but even it's release is early this gen. What are we going to be seeing 5 years from now?
I don't trust JOURNALISM by females or males. Give a monkey a typewriter, though.. THAT I can trust.
This is what happens when your ego gets out of check. I saw this coming a million miles away - it happens every time. Microsoft was evil. Everybody hated Microsoft. So Sony came riding in on a white horse and saved the day. Now that Sony has the edge, it's turned the greed up high and now it's the evil empire and it's Microsoft's turn to ride in on a white horse. Then it'll happen again. Back and forth competition. Neither company is an angel, but they'll const...
