CODBO4 was the first game w a real shot, considering the huge following COD has.
It doesn't, but it's "cool" to hate on what's popular with the casuals. So, Apex makes all these "pro OGs" feel special.
But this too shall pass.
In other words, you suck at building.
EA thinks it knows best, so, Respawn will be forced to do whatever EA tells it to to maximize EA's profits. It's only a matter of time.
No. Fortnite was thought as a PUBG killer, but guess what.. PUBG is still around, even with more competition than just Fortnite. Plus, it's only a matter of time before EA jakks up APEX. Also, with season 8 less than 3 weeks away, a lot of players will likely return to Fortnite.
And then we have Apex Legends. Right now, it's all Respawn, but you know EA is already getting ideas with it's sudden success. It won't be long before they screw it up.
Broke casuals? I've spent more $$$ on Fortnite than any game in my 30 years gaming.
I get that it's cool to hate on what's popular, but Fortnite is an amazing game that continues to shine.
@Pantz
Not liking the art style is fine, but that's a silly reason to want a game to fail.. or as you said, wishing them bad luck. That's great that you like PUBG, but as I've already said, competition is good and PUBG is a better game, because of Fortnite, just as Apex is, just as the BR mode in COD and so on.
I don't understand comments like this. Okay, it's not for you. I understand that. It's not for me either, but why hope it "takes Fortnite down a peg"? What did Fortnite ever do to you? I actually hope it and other competition raises Fortnite a peg, several pegs. Competition is good for consumers.
Also, Twitch is perfect to see legitimate, unedited gameplay that lets you truly see what you're buying. Unlike gameplay released by developers, which might just highlight a game's more interesting moments.
Commenting on comments. Reviews are worthless. They're one person's opinion in a world of many. You want an honest review, play the game yourself. Oh, you don't have it to play? Watch about 30 minutes of someone playing it on Twitch. Yeah, it might spoil a thing or 2 - you'll live, but you'll get an idea if it's something you think you would like. That's what I did before I bought it. No regrets.
It's N4G. Take it as a compliment.
Kinda agree. I mean, maybe each had their own honest take on their GOTY, but it seems suspicious when they each pick something different; as if purposely including the biggest titles. But then, in today's overly sensitive society, maybe it's just good business to make a point in including as many as possible so not to exclude anyone.
I have my personal pick for GOTY, but I know 99% of people would tell me I'm wrong, even though it's my personal pick would b...
Not a leak. The same description is listed on Xbox One.
I'm really wanting this game, but just about every other big release I bought day-1 recently got a 50% discount soon after. So, I'm gonna wait and see what happens.
I haven't been into Fallout since FO3, but being from WV, I was all for getting FO76. I pre-ordered the $200 PA Edition, but I really only wanted the map, so I cancelled my pre-order and pre-ordered the tricentennial edition instead. I still paid way too much for a crappy game that even failed at getting my state right, but thank God I didn't drop $200 on this crap.
It's a shame BFV is suffering, because for what it's currently offering, it's one of the best BF games to date. I do think it should have been delayed a few months, but EA seems to think it has to go head to head with the latest COD every year.. despite losing, every year. Some never learn.
I'd say at least 70% of those posting don't keep up with what's happening in VR nowadays.
I'd put money on Microsoft tackling VR with the next-gen Xbox.
So, in other words, don't buy till March when they'll practically be giving the game away.
Nah. I'm decent. And I'm actually interested in these games, which is why I'm here. If I wasn't interested, I wouldn't be. See how that works?
