Unfortunate, the ugly side of the business.
The world constructed in Horizon is one of the most innovative and beautiful I've ever seen. It's got the chance to be Sony's next flagship title and I think we can lock this one in as a GOTY for 2017.
Uh yes, 2016 was butt. But not only do I expect great exclusives in 2017 but I expect them to have hardware that ppl want to invest in.
I personally think 3rd party exclusive are running scarce these days period, they're better off trying to tie down 2nd party titles or expanding their first party portfolio. Right now they have Halo wars 2, Crackdown 3, State of Decay, Cup head, and Sea of thieves. I don't think any of those games are going to help them move units over the competition. Even Nintendo looks like they might get back in the fold of releasing great exclusives with BoTW and a potential Super Mario. My hopes...
SP and bloodborne 2 will be announced at e3, and I think we'll get updates on GoW, Days Gone, Detroit, Dreams, GT Sport, and Spider-Man. Also expect a new wave of games for VR.
Excited about what the switch might be, hopefully it won't be out of stock too long after release. I plan on getting one once I see the reception for it and the games it offers upon release.

I'm pumped to see that we're going to get variety in enemies, not just different types of robots but also humans now.
Great sound design as well, the machines sound truly terrifying at times. I can't imagine how that cloaking machine in the jungle might sound when you're walking around and you have no idea where its coming from.
We still haven't seen what Sucker Punch is working on and my guess is they got a couple second party titles in the works as well (Bloodborne2).
Wow that looks incredible, game is gorgeous. Offered some peaks at new things as well that make me eager to see what this stories going to be about. Gave me the same chills the UC4 story trailer gave me.
Oh for sure I'm getting Nioh too, and Mass Effect and Persona 5.
Could be and I'd actually be open to that with Horizon, NieR, Switch, and P5 all releasing between March and April lol.
I meant they announced the release date so close to release. I don't think they'd do that without knowing if they'd make that date.
Dude GR2, Nioh, For Honor, Horizon, NieR, Mass Effect, and P5 all within the first 4 months for me. And I haven't included the possibility of me buying a Switch as well. My poor wallet will die of starvation lol
Niiiice! Really enjoyed the original and the comic book style story telling, can't wait to jump back into this world. Solid reviews so far with the average sitting around an 8. I need to hurry up and beat FFXV now!

Always fun to discuss this stuff! Personally I think whatever SP is working on, as well as BB2, and maybe one other 2nd party AAA game will get announced sometime this year. I think the big guns have been shown and we'll see mainly VR exclusive titles as well as plenty indies. I can't imagine Sony having more than 3 other AAA games to show off, that would be insane!
