How do these analyst predict these things? I don't see how anything we've seen from the switch would suggest its going to sell 40 million units. You can't overreact to the unavailability of the console right now, most new hardware sell out initially, we won't get an accurate depiction on how it will do on the market until after year 1 imo.
You know what, I cant rank these games anymore. I need to go back and play them all again before I can adequately rank them. What I do know is its arguably my favorite franchise ever. UC4 being the most recent I've played, I think it's easily the one that ill remember the most 10 years from now. So many memorable moments in the game, only thing missing to me is that memorable set piece 2 & 3 had.
The Switch might be the first Nintendo console I invest in since the GameCube. Prior to the press conference I was excited to potentially get to experience some of these iconic franchises I've missed out on for so long. But after the 12th my hype for it has died and I'm definitely not getting one day 1. My interest is still there though and I might get one this holiday season, but that all depends on what games we have to look forward to on the Switch.
Hardware always gets ppl all giddy and excited so I'm sure Scorpio will sell well. However software is why we're all addicted to this hobby, with the crazy amount of software Sony has this year, I think it'll provide them with another win in 2017.
My local GameStop does a midnight release for all the big titles, but instead of handing the games out at 12am, they do it at 10pm here in Colorado because of mountain time. What I'm saying is why is this article making it sound like ppl are getting special treatment with resi 7? But I get it now, if you're a member you'll get it at 9 on the east coast which means I'll get it at 7 over here lol. At least I think that's what it means...

Don't they do this regardless of whether you're a power up member or not? I've gotten a lot of my games from GameStop at 10pm the previous night it's supposed to release.
Maybe if I beat RE quick enough I'll play Yakuza before Nioh drops. It's going to be a hectic 3-4 months.
I fully expect Nioh and Horizon to continue the trend as well. Yakuza 0 was not a game im considering playing until now, can't ignore these reviews. It would be my first game in the series, but from what I've heard it's a great place to start.

Man now in tempted to get this. Lets see how resident evil does review wise, but I might get this instead. Would be my first Yakuza game so I'm pumped.

Haven't played DS3 so I cant comment on that but TLOU and TW3 will certainly be viewed as classics say, 15 years from now. GTAV i'm unsure about, it was a great game but idk if it'll be one of the games ppl think about immediately when asked to think of a classic game from the PS3/360 era.

TLOU is one of those games you must play. Its one of the best last gen had to offer and if you own a PS3 or 4 its considered a travesty if you haven't played it lol.
Never played Abyss but I agree with your scores. 2, 3, and 4 are nearly flawless and I consider some of the best games ever. Might have to give it 4 in terms of which one I think is the best. Ah what the hell...
