The Taipei footage is available on YouTube and is only in 720p while the e3 footage is in 1080p. This guy just pulled both videos from tube and is trying to compare a 720 video to a 1080p lol. The difference is clearly in resolution. Quit reaching for the stars and buy a PS4, then you can start loving the game instead of hating on it.

When did I say I want new shooters? I said I want MS to provide new IP. Say what you want about the games I named to, but they all seem to be doing pretty good and are highly successful. And you can't deny that the market in flooded with FPS, imo Sony doesn't NEED one of their own. Clearly 55 mil units sold is proof of that.

Oh got it, I'm not sure. The first level in the trial though has Ogress as the boss at the end. You also fight this humanoid crow thing as well. The second level I think starts off with a boss fight against a Samurai, who basically mops the floor with you. He seems impossible right now lol.
No lol. I'm excited to play it but no way does anything get in GTAs way when it releases. Those games sell 50+ million when they drop, no way anything is stopping that.
I'm not sure I understand your question. The Ogress is the boss at the end of the first level in the demo. Once you reach her, if you die you'll just respond at the shrine near by.

I agree. KZ and Resistance are good franchises but I don't think either turned out to be what Sony hoped they would. In terms of fighting games I don't particularly enjoy them cause I suck at them lol. Mainly ones that are fast paced and difficult to master combos (looking at you MK). Plus I get bored with them pretty quick, they get old fast like racing games imo.
I share a lot of the same opinions as the author. I'm predominantly a single player gamer, I enjoy multiplayer games from time to time but get most of my gaming fix from single player campaigns. I also love diversity in my gaming lineup, and there's no better place than PS to experience that. Great puzzlers like The Witness, Interactive games like Until Dawn, Third person action games like UC4, and my love for JRPGs is also fulfilled on PS platforms.

Ya it was awesome but like you said showing it off at e3 kind of ruined it for me. I should also blame myself for watching it a bunch of times prior to playing the game too lol
It definitely is. I've been stranded on Vita island for a long long time now.
I'm more curious to see what this tech looks like 10 years from now. Right now I think it's nothing more than a gimmick and certainly not worth a $400 investment. Once a true VR gaming experience comes around, only then do I think it will be successful in the console space.
Fans of the souls series will enjoy this game, I think it's too challenging for the average gamer. I myself will be digging into this bad boy starting tonight during the trial.

Challenging indeed! The Ogress wasn't too bad but that damn samurai you fight afterwards is very difficult. Probably cause all my gear is only level 6 though. This games sooo good though, can't wait till the full release.
Game looks freaking awesome! I haven't seen anything that would justify any skepticism from me. Just wish it didn't release in March amongst all the chaos lol.

I don't mind this game beeing somewhere between 10-15 hours long. That's actually reasonably long to me for this type of game, and not every experience needs to be 40+ hours. Usually after a game that length I like to play 2-3 shorter games, so resi 7 should do just fine. Assuming I get it over Yakuza 0.
