I don't think people realize how great the build quality is on controllers. I'm speaking DS3 right now because it's the one I use many hours each day; that thing is extremely well put together. It uses top-quality materials, is built to withstand abuse, and has very precise input.

I wish I shared your enthusiasm--was a time when I did. But the last one was the final nail in the coffin for me as far as this franchise is concerned. It keeps taking more steps backwards than forwards.

I thought the graphics were extremely uneven--looked great in some areas, terrible in most others. Also, the characters look extremely unnatural. And the gameplay was anything but tight; the shooting mechanics were imprecise, and the power controls were awkward.
Needless to say, I was left extremely unimpressed. Especially for a title that was supposed to be so amazing.
Hmm... So we really ARE closer to holo-decks than I thought! Yes!! Maybe I'll get to see them before I'm too old to enjoy them.
