Well said.
Dumb article. Should be: Tomb Raider & Uncharted 3 & Arkham City.
If you'd said that 15 years ago, I would've believed it. Have you played Crash Bandicoot??!
Edit: I have no idea what you meant in the last sentence. Are you referring to the latest Crash releases? Those have nothing to do with Naughty Dog anymore.
Demon's Souls, if you follow a guide, can take less than 60 hours to plat. Can realistically be done in less than two weeks with a few kids game thrown in for easy plats and taking breaks! (Not what I did, but just saying. I got Demon's Souls plat in about a month! And no kids plats for me.)
Wait... So now that he's reached the cap, will he do something else with his life? O_o No point in getting more trophies!
Actually, now that I think about it: I will facepalm if he starts a new account to reach level 50 again.
I played it for about 30 minutes to give it a fair chance. The controls need some getting used to, after all. My last run through I beat the level in 5 minutes, headshoted most enemies, and didn't die once. It's fair to say I got to grips with the controls.
I wouldn't play this game even if it was free.
Soon they'll be able to make their own "Top 10 bad ideas for a Top 10 list".
This has me really worried about eye strain though. Hell, playing PSP too much, focusing on a screen so close to my face, was making me go near-sighted. And as gamers we'd be using these a lot. If this is even remotely bad for your eyes, the effects would be exponentially worse for gamers.
I just noticed--downloading now!
I got the email but I wasn't in the beta. :(
I was out of the country during the download window for Sony's welcome back freebies, so I didn't get my free month of PS Plus. :,(
Oh well, guess I'll just look like any other non-beta player!
Cool, thanks!
I'm always interested in watching a good SC2 match. I found the nuke on youtube yesterday, but just watching that isn't the same as seeing the whole game.
Taking out a cyclops's only eye isn't exactly a revolutionary idea!
lol, COD and aim in the same sentence!
I haven't bought any COD games this gen because right away I caught on to how noob-friendly they are (which, incidentally, is the key to their success), but all my friends play it so I'm not opposed to joining them for a night of zombies. First thing I do, though, is always to change my two key settings: invert aim ON, aim assist OFF. The night was drawing to a close, and we'd changed to competitive match types, and I figured...
Links to videos would be much appreciated.
No more screen-looking for you noob!
@dark:
Yes, the agree/disagree system on this site is retarded. I feel like they should get rid of the disagree button altogether. It just promotes a negative environment.
Also, the mods are extremely negative. I see so many users with great comments, but it's extremely rare to see anyone with more than 5 bubbles. Most people have less than 5 though.
Demon's Souls is the exact anti-thesis to this gen!
In a gen when games have never been more noob-friendly (practically every game has regenerating health and checkpoints everywhere), Demon's Souls went completely against the trend. Definitely one of the best games this gen. Define the gen though? lol no.
I agree with LBP. Created both the ideas of "co-opetition" and "Play, Create, Share". LBP's been a much bigger influence on this gen than we realize.
lol
That's not entirely fair though. Everyone's a noob at some point, but not all noobs are idiots. Noobs who persist in their noobish ways and ignore advice from better players, now they're idiots.
When I was a kid, games were inverted, and you didn't have the option to change it. So that's what I'm used to now.
I get so ticked off when a game won't give me the option to invert the Y axis. Seriously, how lazy does a dev have to be not to implement that option?? I rarely put up with a game that I can't invert.
All my friends play non-inverted, and when we alternate playing we always have to go in the options and change the setting bac...
