Well without the git gud community I would have believed the game was hard because enemies hit too hard or I don't have enough health but because of them I knew the issue is all in the timing, once you learn a bosses pattern you and beat it you get such a sense of accomplishment but I fear that if there was an easy mode I would have missed out on that because I would have got frustrated at the start and swapped to it.
I beat God of War on Bring me god of war difficulty and it sucked a lot of enjoyment from the game, it wasn't built around being that hard and scaled down. The only thing you learnt by dying in that difficulty was that encounters with lots of enemies need to be cheesed as everything has way more health than what they would have in a souls game.
With souls game difficulty it's not that everything has a ton of health, it's that you have to learn the attack patter...
People have said it's fixed so many times, and yet I have done it every single time my sub expires. It may not work on console anymore but the PC app keeps offering me £1 trials.
PS5 digital sales will be lacking compared to PC digital sales, PC sales are 99% digital on console it's closer to 50%. There are 721,811 steam users in game on Elden Ring at the moment and that's during off hours for Europe and the US. The game has likely sold many millions on Steam alone to have that many players during EU work hours and US sleep hours.
If that 721,811 people playing it right now are the only people who bought it and PC is only 3%(like the articl...
You can get it for $1/mo if you subscribe and pick the option for it to not automatically charge you again in a months time. Once your sub expires the $1/mo option appears again in the PC gamepass app. I did it for 9 months.
I've played the first 10 hours, what pacing issues are you referring to? Hard bosses that you can fight early on? Welcome to Dark Souls, go to an easier area if you get stuck and level up.
Got to say though, so many news titles from today look like they could have been onion titles 10 years ago, the world got very weird.
It's not a one off though, she has said so much stuff that any company would rightly see you as a brand risk and fire you. For example women with A cups have no worth being alive and some comments about women over the age of 30 as well. She just seems very hateful.
From reading the article they are paying them, the complaint is that there is no transparency on how much Microsoft is earning off of Halo music and so they don't know if they are being paid enough.
People say that when ever any game has realtime day - night cycles and the lighting looks bad compared to RT. Metro Exodus, Cyberpunk 2077 and now Dying Light. Anyone who knows anything about lighting will understand that realtime ray tracing will look better in games with realtime lighting as RT can't be baked into shadow maps and games have to rely on light probe solutions to approximate realtime lighting which is a whole lot of work to make it look as natural as RT.

Yup, I loved the first wolf among us. Never thought I'd find a fairy tale game that gripping.
Kind of the point of a flight simulator. The planes and cockpits look incredibly detailed too.
I'm guessing that Bungie has negotiated this as part of the contract (Seeing as they announced they are retaining publishing independence on their own announcement) and it's regulator friendly so it can be announced without fear of having the deal struck down.
Activision Blizzard however probably did not negotiate publishing independence from Microsoft and Microsoft doesn't want to say anything that may cause any alarm to regulators so we wont know their real pl...
Apparently N4G doesn't believe you
You forgot the biggest money maker for Microsoft, Azure.
"While Microsoft’s three core business segments are still well balanced in terms of revenue, the intelligent cloud business is gradually pulling away. Productivity and Business Processes, which includes Office, LinkedIn, and Dynamics, makes up around 33 percent of Microsoft’s revenues. Intelligent Cloud, which includes Auzre, server products, and cloud services, now generates 38 percent of Microsoft’s revenues. T...
Prices for everything keep going up. It's not like physical game prices aren't going up.
Sony doesn't provide drivers for Dualshock 4 on PC. Steam tries to help by supporting it via Steam Input but not every game supports Steam Input. Microsoft provide PC drivers for both wired and wireless Xbox controllers.
Until Sony provides driver support it's kind of like expecting a Xbox controller to work on a PS5 without any drivers / hassle.
Maybe they prefer being blocked from doing anything because the console wants to update now before you can go online rather than being able to update whenever you want at the click of a button. Seems weird to me though.
Candy Crush and it's half a billion in revenue a year too.
It's because VRR makes it harder to tell when framerate isn't locked to 30 or 60 and this game drops on both. PC Gamers have been using VRR for many years now to avoid having to stay at a locked 120 or 240 or nowadays even 300hz refresh rate.
