Try her solo without a summon if you think she isn't hard, I think she'll be able to change your mind.

There's a pretty big difference between GT7s level of simulation of a DLC car and these simulations. I own a couple of DCS World planes and it's really useful to have the actual manual for the plane in order to get the startup checklist and sequence correct. These are designed to be as complete as possible.

If you think it's not worth the money then that's fine, it's a pretty niche hobby to get into this level of simulation, most people will probably ha...

Now that's a good looking limited edition console.

Elden Ring is my favourite so far this year, wasn't sure the souls experience would survive the move to open world but they nailed it.

It's more than I have ever spent on a monitor, but new monitors are coming out with new features like HDR and to get a good experience these add quite the price premium. The real question is, is good HDR worth a $300+ premium over a non HDR monitor?

I've never experienced HDR gaming so I can't say one way or another.

The 4K monitor actually has a decent price, $900 for 4k 144hz with FALD HDR instead of crappy edge lit HDR. It's still pretty bad FALD HDR compared to the flagship monitors with 1000+ zones vs the 96 on the Sony monitor but those flagships cost over $3000.

It beats any 4k HDR implementation below $1000.

I wouldn't use IGN for monitor reviews, if you want a pretty detailed review with a bunch of performance figures and comparisons to other monitors check out this one https://www.techspot.com/re...

"In no other career is it made to be this godawful thing for a salaried employee to work overtime hours sometimes. The area I can agree upon is EXCESSIVE Crunch meaning months and months with 12+ hour shifts and weekends,"

This depends a lot on where you live, every culture has an idea of what the ideal work life balance should look like, from what you are saying I am guessing you're from the US, the example you gave of excessive crunch would not just be viewe...

@staticall Fair enough, you've changed my mind. I do think it's the devs fault but I agree the reviewer should spot it if marking the review for that platform.

It's not a new game, should reviewers play through the entirety of every re-release of Skyrim too in order to check for bugs?

This is the job for QA departments, not reviewers.

Now what about a big game that releases on multiple platforms, should reviewers play through red dead redemption 2 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X?

1444d ago 1 agree6 disagreeView comment

To be fair this isn't really the reviewers fault, the developers should spot this during QA.

If it's a good game? Yes, loads of people. Most people don't even know diablo immortal is a thing.

It makes a lot of sense wherever they are doing remakes of games to release them on PC as well. There will be far more PC gamers who haven't played the game than PS5 owners. They can probably cover the costs of the remake for both platforms entirely by just adding PC into the mix.

According to Sony's figures, God Of War sold nearly 1M copies in 2 and a half months on PC. Assuming the port didn't cost 40 million, that paid for the port rather quickly.

The people above you just explained why it is news, it's the first time we've seen statistics like these that I can think of and it makes an obvious case for including female playable characters in games if you want to capture that audience.

I think it's unlikely as the developers are in Ukraine, I can't imagine much work has been done on the game since the war began.

He worded it weirdly, 4 times the amount they made on PC, they made $80M from PC last year according to their investor report and this year they are aiming for $300M

Here is the distribution of sales by platform for Ubisoft over the past few years:
https://www.statista.com/st...

PC sales are growing and the sales don't seem bad, bigger than Xbox and a bit behind PlayStation. It's obviously not anywhere near as big a problem as fanboys claim. Either that or PC Gaming is absolutely huge and piracy is about 50% ...
