Halo: CE was great, I kind of wish the series hadn't changed so much from the original trilogy. I really like the struggle between the covenant, the humans and the flood. Never really enjoyed the new robot enemies.
Wolfenstein already did that and it was amazing. Count me in!
This isn't a freedom of speech issue, if people are allowed to make games about shooting up schools freely then people should also be allowed not to like it and to complain and or not sell it in their stores. It has to work both ways.
Agreed, sales wise Call of Duty will most likely win but I much prefer the Battlefield games.
I doubt most people here even know what DICE PR and DICE devs have been saying, I doubt they could identify these conflicts.
Most people just seem to be upset about politics.
That's pretty cool, it's nice to see new places even if it's just in a video game.
But they did fight in WW2. Women did also die on the frontlines.

I don't really see an issue with it, these games aren't focused on realism and telling some of the less known stories definitely has it's appeal as we have focused on the mainstream stories for so long now. You will probably find that at least some women served on the front line or behind enemy lines in most of the major forces, just because it wasn't common for most forces doesn't mean their stories should never be told. It's not like the game will only be about the r...
Can you tell that to my Vita, it no longer turns on :'(
Because we don't need to know and most people that are not in the industry don't care about game sales.
Would you trust Sony to support a new Vita?
It's also important to recognise innovation and progress, people still talk about the effect that games like Doom, Half Life and even Halo had on their genres. Player Unknown made the standard format for this genre, Fortnite innovated by mixing it in with building mechanics. It will be interesting to see what comes next.
I really enjoyed the Metro games so I am looking forward to playing this one when it releases. Really hope they get the same atmosphere that made the last 2 games so amazing.
He worked on the mods that brought about the genre we know today as battle royale into gaming as well as being contracted to work on H1Z1 and PUBG. So Player Unknown definitely did bring about battle royale games. If you want to look at things that inspired it then DayZ (a mod that he modded to make the first Arma battle royale mod), the hunger games and of course Battle Royale the movie were all probably fairly influential.
Yes he was, Brandon Greene worked on all of the above but Fortnite.
My point was that saying a PC is 10 years behind because it can't play a PS3 game well means that the PS4 is also 10+ years behind as it can't play the same PS3 game at all
Yep PS4 plays this PS3 game much better, wait a minute.
A lot of us who have prime memberships don't only buy Sony games with it. I imagine the number of people who would cancel would be fairly low in the big picture.
It's a good question, I'm not sure why you got downvoted. I'll try and answer for Europe but I'm not an expert by any means.
Well in Europe them refusing to uphold your statutory warranty rights within the first 6 months because you broke a sticker would most definitely be illegal. The burden of proof that you broke the machine is on them. After 6 months the burden of proof is your own but a consumer protection group can give you better advice than I can. As...
They are making a ton of royalties from this game. 5% of the 40M copies sold is quite a bit. It just hurts everyone to quit the relationship
