Is test driven development popular in the game dev world?
Exactly, there is just something magical about the worlds From Software creates. They are such a joy to explore and I just haven't had that feeling with any of the other souls-like games.
I've not really liked any of the Souls like games. Nioh and the surge just don't have the same magic.
@OffRoadKing Sorry, to be clear. I didn't mean they should not be on top. I just think momentum should change so that they are not ridiculously ahead as competition is great.
@Super I think at least some of the outfits should be unlockable in game without loot crates / spending money. I don't mind them selling some extra cosmetics if they are also constantly working on and updating the game with new maps / weapons and other content for free.
Unfortunately they don't seem to be giving us much of a real progression system without spending money or endlessly getting junk out of loot crates.
Sure it could and it should. Nobody should be blindly loyal to a company, they should do what suits them. It definitely isn't likely though (outside of the US and UK)
I really don't see cross play on a select number of titles causing a bunch of people to go out and buy Xbox Ones instead of PS4s. The number that do will probably be similar to the number of people who buy an Xbox over a PS4 as they can play with friends across more paltforms.
It's not like backwards compatibility, another consumer friendly move I think we can all agree on wanting has caused Xbox to sell a bunch of consoles.
Just over $4000
@OffRoadKing It's nothing to do with supporting. Saying nothing is not supporting. Hoping gay people aren't represented in a game or in games in general is something else. Calling a kiss 'QUEER SHIT' just because it's between two women is disgusting and I hope these same people don't comment like this when it comes to real people sharing a kiss.
Being normal doesn't mean the same thing as being right. It doesn't affect me one bit so I don't mind it. Disliking something just because it isn't the norm is a really boring way to look at things
@Prettygoodgamer. Fortnite. That's why people are upset that you can't do the same if you have ever played the game on a PS4.
They don't normally accept refund requests, what's the problem? Well it's still that they don't normally accept refund requests. Just because an anti-consumer practice is common doesn't make it okay. We should all push back against stuff like this no matter what platforms are doing it. More so if it's a platform we are invested in.
Would you really though or would you be happy with the added job security? I'm sure they negotiated their terms with Microsoft
All of the big companies (Google, Samsung, Intel, Nvidia, Microsoft...) are researching and investing money in AI, Nvidia are using it in games already for their RTX stuff. Haven't heard much of devs using neural network AI in their games though.
Or if they are one of the people on here who hate PC.
is anything that has women in it going to be called SJW now?
Never got into the series but aren't they all pretty cringe?
Ori looks so beautiful. I might try this one when it comes out, I didn't really get into the first game
Am I missing something or is this story literally just "Game had more players on it's release month (December) over the Christmas period than it did in June the next year" ?
I wonder what would happen if we polled the people on this site about how they feel about crossplay, digital refunds and backwards compatibility.
I feel like some people would be against all of that just because Xbox does them. Cutting off the nose to spite the face style. Unfortunately I feel like a democratic consumer base does not always work in their best interests.
