That doesn't really matter if the temps are safe. Nvidia GPUs for example tend to have the fans on the lowest RPM that will maintain 80C. Pretty hot but it's well within safe operating ranges. There is diminishing returns on trying to lower temps and so you need to set a reasonable target.
My OG PS4 is the loudest computer I own, kinda wish they made these things bigger and bulkier if it meant less noise.
I just want to see how the new Age of Empires game is coming along.
Why would playing a single-player focused game after others have played it make it any worse. If you have the patience to wait and other things to play in the meantime then it will be great if you get it today or next month or next year.
Why don't they just not mess with the identifier column and just add a display name column, instead of losing access to certain things you would just see your old name in certain places. New games and services or updated ones would show the display name.
They would not even have to force a unique display name unless they wanted to. See steam, discord, battle.net etc. It's hard to say what they should do without seeing the current schema but I really can't see th...
To be fair I can't get the game either now that FlameWater isn't getting it. They basically did this for nothing.
You make it sound like the developers are asking to work 100 hour weeks. Now that would be quite something, I imagine they are miserable and are just hoping to get through it and have a life outside of work again. Working someone past a certain point drops efficiency, humans are not machines and none of us will work at top productivity, 16 hours a day for weeks.
@bluefox755 In the UK an employer can ask you to waive your max weekly hour rights but they can't fire you for saying no. So you can work it if you want but you can't be forced to do so (unless you are a minor, you can't waive those rights as a minor).
No it just means there are enough young people that are willing to get exploited for the privilege of working in the industry and enough companies willing to exploit these people.
You can be passionate at work without having 100 hour weeks,
Assuming they get Sunday off, that's 16.66 hours a day, 6 days a week. Barely enough time left to sleep and eat.
Wow that's really rough, I hope they at least compensate people when doubling their work hours.
I don't get why this has disagrees. None of those games are owned by Microsoft. Why would it be Microsoft's job to add cross platform with PS4 on games they don't own?
Agreed
Same with Germany. A gamescom visit makes that pretty clear. Violent games stuck behind doors and body pillows and porn site merchandise everywhere.
On PC Battlefield 1 runs better for me than the Black Ops 4 beta did, not sure if it is better in the full game but Dice definitely optimise better for PC. Maybe that's where OP plays.
@wcas That's totally fair. I agree with you entirely and wont be getting one myself but I do feel like people have some pretty unfair expectations of a technology that we weren't even considering a possibility in the near future.
Well there is an RTX 2070 announced already but yes I doubt the consoles will support it any time soon. Maybe the next Xbox will support it as Microsoft worked with Nvidia to add RTX support to DirectX but who knows.
Some people will prefer 1080p on a monitor with ray tracing than 4K on the same monitor.
They now have a choice. I like how quickly we have moved from "real time ray tracing is impossible" to "well it kind of sucks if you can't even do it in 4K yet".
"Gender I've found has never been a deciding factor on buying or playing a game that I can tell." Then why does everyone care so much that this game allows you to play as two genders instead of one? Why can't the devs add this without causing a giant argument that apparently is still going. This whole thing seems like a non-issue and I wish we could go back to talking about the actual game.
For people reading it in the US it's a loaded, heated political statement. For those of us reading from outside the US it's an interesting fact.
In the UK we do highlight knife violence an awful lot, especially inside London although it is a problem outside of it too. They highlight it because it's the most common homicide tool in the UK accounting for 30% of homicides. I assume people highlight gun crime in the US for the same reason but I haven't done the ...
