@philaroni "If a person broke in your home and found your wallet and took all the info out you would blame them"

You seem to be assuming that Sony "wasn't home" when the servers were broken into but they WERE home. If someone broke into my house and picked up my wallet while I was home they would find themselves staring down the long black steel barrel of my shotgun and that would be the end of that. Wallet secure.

Next time I commit a serious crime I'm going to leave a card that reads "Harrison Ford was here" and he'll do the time for me! Wait, maybe that isn't proof of anything, is it? Show me some real evidence. I don't want an easy scapegoat taking the rap simply because Sony and the authorities have no idea who perpetrated this crime while they are under pressure to come up with a suspect, I want whoever did this to go down. How about some real investigation and facts ...

Sony would never admit it even if they were fully aware of the vulnerability. Think how easy it would be to sue them if they said they knew about the vulnerability that compromised over 100 million user accounts.

Sounds like they broke the law and were forced to give compensation as a result to me. Your experience confirms Raven's comment.

I still don't think that MS has a proprietary engine for the 360 yet, does it? Aren't all their exclusives running on multiplatform engines like UE3? If MS developed a custom engine for the 360 hardware I think they could definitely squeeze more out of the box...

some things you forgot for the pc column: 7.1 sound, 8x MSAA, 6060x1200 resolution across 3 displays in Stereoscopic 3D, significantly better acccess to steam, custom controls and endless amounts of fan generated content, levels, maps, skins, models, sound packs etc etc.

the 360 hasn't had a price cut since 2008, the ps3 since 2009. They are both due for one imo.

They have already launched their portable gaming. It's called Windows Phone 7

kind of a poor comparison. One is taken at 1:31, the other is taken at 8:01! Show me a comparison at 1:31 to 1:31 and a comparison at 8:01 to 8:01 when the light source is in the same position.
Still going to get it on pc regardless...

Really? That is your argument lawliet?! lol I'm pretty damn sure the red notices at the top of the screen >>DIDN'T<< exist before firmware 3.52 and the slim version of the PS3!!! ie PS3 LAUNCH!!
And did you even look at the manual for firmware v1.00???? As published on Sony's site in Dec 2006 (Firmware v1.60 wasn't available until march 2007!!!):
Install Other OS
1. Insert the disc or storage media that contains the installer in the sys...

"Other OS was NOT apart of the ps3 at launch.

Other OS support came with firmware 1.60"

Oh wise waybackmachine! Here's the user manual for firmware 1.00. Click settings tab then systems settings and what do you see? Yep, you see "install other os"!! Available right from the get go, version 1.00!!

So they are upset because microsoft made them work out all the bugs before they would put it on xbla then, even though microsoft promoted it, it didn't sell well?

Wait a second!

"the PlayStation 3 isn’t threatening their sales numbers."

Did this guy just say that the ps3 isn't a threat to LG's blu-ray player sales??? Confirmed, he's a retard.

@Jimbone79
You have completely read me wrong! My platform of choice is and always has been PC which is and always has been the graphics king. Consoles help gamers who game on a budget but PC is where it's at. I own the 360 and PS3 but don't game on the PS3 much because I don't like the controller, I got it pretty much for Blu-ray.

I guess you missed my sarcasm. I am completely agreeing with you. Guys here call 99% of the devs lazy because the game ...

No, no, those hundreds of other multiplats were made by LAZY DEVS. These titles were made by good devs... except for the other titles they also published where they were also lazy devs.

The 3DS was announced on March 21st, 2010, less than 11 months before launch. Kinect is a peripheral so I don't fully see the relevance but it was introduced as 'Project Natal' in June 2009 in the form of tech demos. The actually announcement where it's name, hardware and actual games were shown to the public for the first time was June 2010. Regardless, Kinect was available 1 year, 4 months after 'Project Natal' was announced at E3 2009.

Now that Killzone, Little Big Planet, Metal Gear Solid, Resistance and Uncharted have been shown on the NGP (psp2) does the PS3 have any exclusives left? I mean, if a game appears on the 360 and PC it isn't an exclusive anymore so now that these games are going to NGP they aren't exclusive anymore either, right?

It takes max a year to port a game and the NGP is supposed to be a dream to work on. They wouldn't have announced it now unless t...
