I would say that the entire RTS genre isn't represented on console. Actually, now that I think about it, pretty much any game with any amount of complexity isn't on console. Civilization, sim games, tycoon games etc
Don't understand your block... these days the console version is about the same as the pc version set on it's lowest settings. Even the cheapest of pc's outperform consoles now and a midrange pc blows them away. I buy a car knowing that I can sell the car down the road and buy a new car. The car company doesn't get any money if I sell my car but they do get money when I buy a new car with the money I got from selling my old car. There are many people who only buy used cars and the car companies never get any money from them either but that is part of the ecosystem. Nobody gets grief about not supporting the car manufacturers when they buy a used car.

dumbest argument in the history of gaming is that the pc is "too expensive". Seriously, anybody who uses the term 'gamer' to describe themselves probably puts 10 hours a week into gaming if not more. The BD drive in the PS3 is a CLV drive. The disc spins faster or slower based on where the data is being read from. Physically slowing and speeding the angular velocity of the disc to read data from different sectors is what takes the biggest bites out of the read speeds of a BD. Even running at the same low resolution of 1152x651 with the same geometric models and the same textures as the consoles, the pc still looks significantly better and I guarantee the pc is running that at a crazy framerate vs 30fps on consoles.
