I lost a trophy but I've already earned it back so no big deal.
Well, if you install the game it uses 18.3Gb so that's how big the game is on 360.

You know, 7.1 audio receivers were around a couple of years before the ps3 launched which would make it backwards compatible not future proof. I presently have a Yamaha RX-Z11 which is an 11.2 channel receiver so that is the current state of consumer technology let alone the future... The ps3 is a decent peice of kit but there's no such thing as future proof electronics.
There's a lot of good reasons to use a full motion video for the cutscenes... a console has a predetermined amount of processing power but you could use the game engine running on a pumped up over the top pc gaming rig to generate really fantastically impressive cut scenes that seamlessly blend into the gameworld because it's still captured using the game's engine PLUS you can load the next level in the background as a result. It's a pretty nice stealthy way of pumping up the graphics while ...
If they have been slowly unlocking system ram then that certainly explains why the texture quality has been improving over time. Well done Sony! I wonder though if that ram was being saved for a feature that didn't work out...
Yes, blu-ray has a space advantage but consider this. If Sony launched the PS3 at the same time as the 360 and it cost $400 instead of $600 would the 360 even be in this race? Sony was forced to launch a year later and at a higher price point because of blu-ray and it has cost them dearly. If they had launched in tandem with the 360 and at the same price but with a DVD drive instead of Blu-ray, I have no doubt in my mind that Sony would be solidly beating Microsoft by atleast a 2:1 margin....
The ps3 shots look better but I am holding my opinion since it has already been shown that the 360 shots are screen caps of a video running on a pc. SE's marketing department seems to be completely incompetent so I'll wait for the lens of truth and digital foundry comparisons before I make my final decision though I still think the ps3 will come out on top since it was the lead platform.

Select 720p and fullscreen, enjoy!
for those that want it in hd, you can select the drop down menu and choose to watch it in 720p then make it full screen
This isn't about the review at all. If a reviewer consistently gives reviews that do not represent the quality of the product, they will become irrelevent all on their own. People will stop reading them and advertisers will avoid them.
Sony's actions here essentially blackmails the entire gaming community. What they are broadcasting to the rest of the journalists of the world is 'give one of our exclusives a bad review and we have the power to hurt you. We will stop adver...
Wait?!?! People are now arguing that MS numbers are sold not shipped!!! hahahahaha N4G has suddenly transformed into some crazy reverso bizarro land!!!
As time goes on it becomes clearer and clearer that whoever owns just a 360 or whoever owns just a ps3 will soon own both consoles because the games on both are that good!
Yep, companies shouldn't have to support old* games so they can make more money.
*This message was written while taking a break from my online session of Diablo II on Battle.net which I bought a decade ago from one of the most financially successful developers of all time. I can't imagine why Blizzard is such a successful company that is praised and loved by the gaming community! *Shrugs shoulders*

I think that he is saying that everyone claims that MS pays off the media yet the site that Microsoft actually has direct control over writes articles that are fair to the ps3 which seems to contradict the former.
@cgoodno
The only exclusive I've seen where a dev mentions it's budget is GT5's 60 Million figure so if you have any other references for other 1st party budgets I'd be very interested read about them if you could link me to them...
Everything that I've read from many different sources has pointed to the PS3 being more difficult to program for. Simple logic seems to dictate that more difficult=more time and since you have to pay the people working on your project, more...
Give a developer $5 million and 2 years and the 360 version will always be better simply because the console is easier to develop for and when money and time is limited, the easier to develop for console will have a better product. This seems obvious to me. Since 3rd party devs need to turn a profit, time and money will almost always be limited for them so multiplats will almost always be better on the 360. Simple. Sony NEEDS it's first party lineup to be better than the 360's though and ...
I can understand both ways of how people see the PC and the 360 as being seperate platforms or the same platform. Windows and Xbox 360 have different profit structures so they seem to be seperate 'platforms' but as far as games go they are essentially the same platform. Games on 360 run in Directx just like they do in Windows and this is unique to Microsoft. If it makes you feel better to call them seperate platforms then fine and if it makes you feel better to say they are the same platfo...
This is silly. Warranty for autos is a service. Live is a service. If you violate the terms of these services then the services will be terminated. Period. And you can't modify your car any way you like either. Modify the lights and you can be charged. Lower the car so it rides too close to the ground and you can be charged. Add NOS and your car will be impounded and you could be charged. etc etc etc the list goes on and on. When you buy a car you have to follow a set of rules and re...
@1.22 Cimmeriandrake
If you modify your car, you violate the terms of service for your warranty and the dealership will not service the vehicle under the warranty agreement. ie you are banned from the warranty service.
The 360 still functions as a standalone console. It is banned from the Live service for which the terms of the service have been violated. And just like the satellite service attacks piracy just before a major event like superbowl, Microsoft att...

They are rating it by the average number of hours a gamer uses each platform online not the number of gamers.
