That's just bad host. When I had a room with 3-4 bar people, the game was QUITE solid. Just got to hope you connect to someone in your country AND hope they have something more than just DSL or shitty cable.

Armor mode lets you take ALOT of hits, I mean alot. And armor mode doesn't protect you well for the first couple of seconds you turn it on. If you leave it on, you are easier to hit (looks like it halves your movement speed) but you can take quite alot of firepower.
If no armor mode is on, depending on you using a pistol, rifle or light machine-gun or sniper, it's only 1-3 hits to the head to kill.

I don't think it looks like crap. Tell me, what about killzone 2 or 3 looks better? Only thing I think KZ has is better AA solution and better death animations. Both are 720P, KZ2 has inferior texture resolution. Both use deferred lighting. I mean really, what is Crysis 2 not doing that Killzone is? Crysis 2 even even has no controller lag and SOLID framerate. KZ can't claim that at all (KZ3 is said to have reduced or eliminated controller lag).

Hey, I love my PC gaming, but I played the demo on xbox. I think it's the best looking game on console hands DOWN. The one thing I think that is not up to par is the AA method, it removes jaggies good but causes ghosting with movement, not cool. Slightly lower texture resolution on some surfaces compared to other games like Gears or Halo.
But this game has great HDR , real time ambient occlusion, true depth of field. Those three things are NO...
If the enemy turned armor mode on, it takes alot of hits, even if headshots. Depending on the gun, when armor mode is off, its 1-3 shots.

My high end ATi/AMD 5870 runs at ~85C. The old Fermi geforce 480 ran around ~95C but the new ones (580) runs at about ~85C.
Actually, according to the steam survey (which gives an idea of gamers and their PC's) Only 25% have XP. And even more interesting, that 25% of users, 64% of them either have a DX10 or DX11 video card installed....meaning they have the HARDWARE for intense gaming, but need to upgrade to Vista/Win7 to do anything in DX10/11.

The 360 is much easier to develop on, but it is EASIER if you develop on the PS3 first because moving from the PS3 to the 360 is easy. The other way around is hard because when you get your engine set up for 360, the PS3 is less flexible to move that engine over.
