Recording is tough because that means instead of the games RAM and CPU being dedicated to the world and AI and so on, you have to give up a little to have a process running that is keeping track of ALL that is going on AND recording it into the "film" file (not actually video, just data on what happened so the game can re-enact it from any viewpoint).
Most devs don't want to do this because that's giving up resources.

You know, even though I don't care for kinect, that is actually a good point. I always close the blinds anytime I game. I always want a theater experience when I play. Just mean, the TV, surround sound and game time.
I think this leaning thing is awesome as hell and have a 1080P webcam so that would work perfect, EXCEPT in my theater mode :(

The 5450 is basically the cheapest DX11 card you can buy from AMD (50 bucks or 35 bucks with mail in rebate on newegg right now).
It is a great card for home use and youtube in 1080P, but gaming will be REALLY tough.
However, it can run Dirt 2 (And I assume Dirt 3 similarly) in DX11 at 1680x1050 (Almost 1080P) at the LOWEST game settings and get a smooth 30FPS, STILL BETTER THAN CONSOLE.

That is straight Pixar stuff. I have never seen a game change shadow blur amount based on the distance of the object and the light source and the surface the shadow is on. I wonder how the hell they are doing this.

To clarify, Crysis 2 is no longer for sale on Steam, but if you bought it Steam, you can still download it all you want and receive auto updates and all that still. Doesn't affect owners.

People don't get hacked. People modify their own copy of MW2 to allow them things like aimbot and wallhacks, and other such things.
While DICE is doing a great job using the strength of the consoles, in the link you gave, you can see how they tried to take the directcompute work they did on the PC and translate it over to the Cell processor.
Call it a high quality port, which is fine as long as you do it well.

The only thing you are missing out on console is 64 players and Cutting edge graphics and 60FPS/3D/120FPS/Multi-display. You still get the BF2 maps and the same DLCs, everything.
You can't have cutting edge graphics on consoles. They are 5(PS3)to 6(360) year old machines. Optimizing a game gives SOME performance and graphics upgrades, but no where NEAR what having DX11 and 2011 CPU's and GPUs, etc.

Comes down to architecture. 360/PS3 are just trying to shrink old architecture, you can only shrink it so much without losing performance. While with new tech (PC or Wii-U), you can get much more performance in the same size, or a little more performance in a much smaller size.
My video card (GTX 580) is around 15x faster than the consoles, that doesn't mean my PC is 15x larger than a console. Its a standard Mid-tower.
Motionblur is in KZ, uncharted and God of war. Its actually a very complex and very pleasing effect. How can you mention it as a downside??

I think it still might be in SP to some extent. All the SP footage so far has had the player climbing to different parts of the tank, or climbing the back of the truck just to use a turret.

Technically Half life games have no cutscenes, really depends on the game.
