Except that this is something bungie has been doing for halo for a while.....

Same circle deal on the right....I think we know what Bungie has helped Activision with already.

What does that even mean? Open world with slight RPG elements and being an FPS is something console owners don't like...?

Bloom is dictated by the camera exposure amount and lenses used. This mod chooses a more over the top camera lens flare and narrow exposure. Movies do this alot.

As opposed to other movies:

Exactly, I hate in BC2 that you might wipe out 3 of the 4 guys you are attacking, and 10 seconds later, they are all back because 1 got wounded but ran away and can still spawn a bunch behind your lines. This way you can focus at the "head" of the serpent/team and stop them from having the tactical advantage without having to make sure you get 4 kills within 10-15 seconds.

switching instantly would defeat the purpose then really, because if the squad leader needs to respawn at a base or flag, but instead he instantly loses it and one of the other 3 get it, it is basically the same, still get you to spawn with your buds no matter what.

I think if he dies ALOT or many other factors.

YES, not really "revamped", its back to how it was in BF2, no more soldiers shitting out their squad mates every 10-15 seconds (Only squad leader can do it, lol).

@DarkTower805

Many tell me you can't compare games to movies and tv show sales due to MP actually being a cost, so I gave the reason why that is false.

Companies have no right to complain about used games sales, if the game is good enough, it sells new, if not, it's over priced for what it offers.

@FunAndGun

I hate the community here, but if I have the chance to educate people and REALLY get them to look into things and cause them to spread the word, then I think it is worth it. I love gaming to death, "played" the Atari while wearing a diaper and sitting on my dad's lap. People have no idea what companies are taking away and/or now charging you for something that is not new and has been free all this time.

I buy 99% of my games new, I ha...

Idiot gamers have accepted this.

People NEED to educate themselves and realize the biggest cost is the hosting of the gamer servers, and almost NO developer has a game that is ONLY dedicated servers. Bad Company 2 is one of them, but Halo, UC, KZ, Resistance, COD, all use your console as host (KZ and Resistance do also support dedicated servers, but the majority of the matches are run on the host's console, not any dev server or anywhere else) which means YOU have the cos...

For the last time, almost NO developer provides you servers!!!!

Halo
UC
COD
Splintercell
gears of war (gears 3 ill support a mix)

and !99%! of all console games are NOT run on their servers, they run on YOURS, meaning someone is host (the server) and uses THEIR internet connection (they pass the cost onto you by using your ISP connection).

All they provide is stats/matchmaking, which can be on 1 or 2 servers fo...

That would be a hell of an idea actually!

In BFBC2, you need to press Q while directly looking at a medic to shout the command, same thing when you need ammo and need to aim at an assault, same thing for aiming at a vehicle and asking for a ride.

The commo-rose (from BF2/2142 and HOPEFULLY in BF3) lets you call out commands with needing to look at someone. Useful because sometimes you aim at people and it doesnt work....or they are not near you.....or they are behind a wall or bush or tree....or you dont want to look...

Not sure if I can agree with fanboys growing out of it. There are adults that are fanboys of apple/ms, amd/nvidia, republican/democrat, dodge/chevy.

People rarely seem to face the facts of the product they buy to make them feel like they are "smart" for buying the "right" product.

The moment I boot, HDCP is enabled and I can't record through HDMI (Unless a firmware update in the last couple months allowed the XMB). Of course, I can record anything through component....

How the hell are you getting disagrees. Wow. Fanboyism is NUTS!

Where can you buy such a device? Why would a device that is HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Copy Protection) compliant be able to......make copies(record)? If you are talking about the multi-thousand dollar equipment you must buy that studios and the like have.....that's not a real consumer option.

You can see in the AVSForums that the legality is being discussed about such devices (This device still wont allow true HDMI HDCP recording, it removes the HDCP encryption and con...

This is GREAT news for any video makers, like myself.

Component is the ONLY way to record your gameplay in HD since the PS3 encrypts the HDMI port even if you aren't watching a movie. So to record, in HD, you must use component (or have "illegal" hardware that lets you record HDMI)

It ADDED HDR with tone mapping, SSAO, "Sky lighting", real-time lens flares with shapes, modified reflections quality, color grading and filtering, FXAA, and possibly other things as well.

@Kennytaur

Basically what will happen is once visuals meet photorealism, all devs will FINALLY start focusing more on AI, scale, physics, etc. Most games are very small scale, small amount of AI and simple physics.

@GameSpawn

What are you smoking? Gamestop can't change the PS3's hardware internally to NOT support component cables. If anything, this is to make sure a Gamestop employees don't accidently sell component cables with a console that doesn't support it due to Sony.

This also means home users can't make any more HD videos of their PS3 games (like myself) since the PS3 encrpts EVEYRTHING that goes over HDMI, even if its a game or XMB. Xbox onl...

The problem with saying "PC" is it doesn't peak, Each time a new series CPUs or GPUs or RAM comes out, the peak increases again (as well as accessibility since older parts fall in price once a new wave hits)
