I just don't get how anyone can think not truly owning games you buy with your money you worked for, ok. Imagine trying to turn on your Sega Genesis or PS1 and being "locked out" because you can't prove who you are? Those consoles become dust collectors. Xbox one is going to be the most expensive rental service ever. Good luck with that. I'm sticking with this Gen because I think we're headed to another videogame crash...all because DRM will suck the life out of...
The only consoles Sega makes are those plug and play things.
Sega's sports games are what gave Ea competition to have decent games across the board. Joe Montana Football 2 was first with real time commentary and actual season long stat tracking. Montana 94 was the top notch title to get versus Madden 94. Both games were scoring perfect reviews.
Now sports games are stale because of the lack of competing software. Madden has been piss poor since 360 came out. This was the worst Gen to be a sports gamer.
Nothing sells on Wii except Mario stuff
"@Author : About Final Fight, I think its quality matches the Street of Rage series, at least the Arcade version."
I bubbled you up for the comment but I have to disagree. The core experience is similar I'll give you that, but running side by side and looking at all the little things you'll see that SOR is much further polished than the Final Fight games. I recently played through them just to make sure but for example when your characters stand in place f...
I liked Saturn. Virtua Fighter was amazing during that time. Saturn's launch was just weird timing in summer. They should have waited but wanted to beat Sony to the punch.
This is why xbone might not be a bad thing. Putting these crooks out of business is good for the industry. Giving games back their real value too.
The loading times between each small area killed fable for me. I may try this if it's faster.
Everyone waiting for Sony to save the world because Nintendo and MS have their cards on the table. I just hope some companies announce some long awaited titles...a new 2k football would be nice NFL license or not, Shenmue 3, Some kind of HD remake of Streets of Rage or Phantasy Star (Not online), A true Gears of War 4, a possible EA baseball title since 2k's license should be over soon.
But Sega doesn't do a whole lot at E3 so I'll probably still be waiting for...
Me too. 12 years waiting for Shenmue 3
I appreciated what they were able to achieve with vector man but overall I didn't have much fun playing them. I should give comixzone another chance as I struggled with that title as well. I agree 100% with Ristar, awesome game.
There are a lot of good Genesis games, but there were a lot of games that were basically Sega's version of a popular Nintendo game. This list focused on experiences nearly unavailable on the SNES. Zelda to Beyond Oasis or Golden axe war...
I loved Phantasy star 1,2, and 4. I've tried 3 but the battle system wasn't as good as 2. Shining Force was awesome too. I'm playing part two on psp right now.
I know there are a ton of games but these were the ones I've recently played again.
That's why people have to remember scores are only an opinion. Everyone sees things differently.
My guess is the XboxOne looks like it does simply because they want it to have enough air and not overheat like with the 360. Hopefully they learned from the RROD. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony's PS4 ends up looking similar.
I don't think it will live up to expectations. I'm hoping I'm wrong and minds are blown. I'm thinking Sony and MS are going to unleash hell and the internet will be blown up worse than it was after May 21.
Halo lost me at ODST.
Sometimes its nice to just have one console hooked up instead of cluttering up a tv stand with 4 or 5.
I was just happy that they got NFL 2k5 to work before they stopped.
I still use my 360 to play NFL2k5 with free roster updates. The game runs in HD and still holds up well. NFL2k5rosters.com
I also use it for Shenmue 2, Manhunt, Halo 2, MLB 2k5, Spiderman 2, and the Splinter Cell series. I for one will be holding on to the 360 for years to come.
I hate what they did to Golden axe. Sega isn't what they once were.
