Meh, there are reasons why Xbox is here. Debate all you want till you're blue in the face but Playstation is the one that tries to mimic the others.

Nintendo should go after games that people want with little hope of seeing. Go after Sega to make Shenmue 3 and a traditional Phantasy Star 5. Tap into EA/bioware for KOTOR 3. If Nintendo was willing to co-publish on Wiiu they might find the platform viable. It would send a message to gamers that they are in the war.

Saturn 3d pad also had a great dpad like the genesis 6 button. Best 2d fighting on earth required SEGA!
I will disagree unless madden actually starts over with an entirely new engine with player models that don't look like long armed monkeys. Madden 05 is hailed by many as the best one ever. NFL 2k5 is hailed as one of the best football games in history. Competition pushed devs. Now EA could care less because it's the only NFL game you can get.
Same would happen with consoles.

Ps1 games were jaggie which is worse than blurry. Just put blitz, madden, Tony hawk, or resident evil2 side by side. N64 wins every time. Ps1 games were ugly.
New player models have been needed since 2006.
Yukes has never been that good in the first place. It's the same lousy engine that they had since PS1. What do people expect?
I wish 2k would have somehow got a hold of the Aki Engine...WWF No Mercy N64 and Def Jam Vendetta/FFNY used this engine and it was a blast. I'd love to see it in HD.
PS1 got a ton of shovelware. I'll take an N64 with their top 20 games versus a PS1 and it's top 30.

Yes you can. The PS2 would beg to differ.
Here's an example:
So I make a game with say 100 copies for easy math. I port it to both Wii and 360, 50 games each. The Wii has a large install base but my game sells 20 copies meanwhile I sell 40 copies on the 360.
Like most 3rd party publishers, they're much happier with the 360...
I'm going to bet there are going to be tons of Xbox ones on eBay for $1000 and higher.
