That's why I think it is the work of trolls. The quiet Nintendo fanboys...lol
Seriously, it looks fake as hell. The comments look like they're from 13 year old kids.
It's too funny :)
The comments are so dumb. It's probably Sony lovers doing this petition to help The Ps4. Go SDF!
When one is getting weaker ports of the elite versions why bother? I usually get the best one. PS2 versions of Vice City, NFL 2k5, sonic heroes, Cell, and others were lacking compared to other consoles. Dreamcast out performed PS2 with multiplats too. PS2 was a lot like the NES. Weak but had most of the exclusives.
EA never tried to optimize games for specific platforms for easy porting so most of their games like madden wouldn't show a difference.
Crap is crap. PS4 will have prettier crap.
SEGA 4 Life!
The games I kept on Xbox:
Shenmue 2
NFL 2k5
Splinter Cell 1,2,3
Manhunt
GTA Vice City
GTA San Andreas
MLB 2k5
Tiger Woods 2004
Tony Hawk 2x
KOTOR
KOTOR: Sith Lords
Jade Empire
Morrowind
Halo 1 and 2
Sonic Heroes
People claim they want new experiences but those games don't sell and devs go under because of it. Sequels are safe. The get their money.
Buy more indie games and different games like Mirror's Edge, Catherine, Vanquish, Binary Domain, and Darksiders instead of Call of Duty 8 or Halo 4. Simple. Gamers make choices and it makes or breaks IPs.
You were probably too busy with Beavis and ButtHead on Mega Drive?
Just import the UK version. It worked with game shark. You just set it to PAL settings.
Shenmue was awesome. It was just bad timing for it's releases. Shenmue 1 came out during the PS2 launch even though PS2 games weren't that great people were ignoring Dreamcast at that point.
Shenmue 2 came out after Halo, GTA3, MGS2, and Final Fantasy X hit store shelves in the states. Also at that time the big craze was Tony Hawk and SSX extreme sports type games. Shenmue just never had it's chance to shine.
It could hit now with HD remak...
Wish they would start over. Player models still look lame. They look worse when moving.

Splinter Cell had issues at Ubisoft at the time. Nothing really to do with technology of the 360 console.
It was a good generation.
My only let down this gen were the sports genre. Too many exclusive contracts limiting competition which in turn stifled any kind of advancement.
It's all about taste. If you liked JRPGs PS2 was for you. If you liked WRPGs like KOTOR and Morrowind Xbox was for you. Both had their share of heavy hitters but elite HD versions of most multiplatform games were on Xbox.
Looking back at the Genesis/SNES era that's when it was heated. Each console battled neck and neck in software. For every SNES game that came a long Sega made sure there was a title similar on the Genesis. It was an amazing time in gaming and...
@Godmars290: "Yet with the PS2 and especially the PS3 there are games which have been mistaken for being next gen."
Like what?
There are no PS2 games that look as good as anything on PS3. PS2 didn't even support progressive scan and the jaggies (blurry movements) were horrid. Dreamcast's Shenmue were crystal clear but FFX on PS2 was blurred in comparison. I thought my TV was messed up when I played PS2 on it. Thank goodness for HD collections!
My answer is that neither company where you tend to go with the current lesser evil which is Sony. While Sony's first party games will have no DRM or restrictions, 3rd party devs have yet to commit to that same strategy. Activision is hinting at their own subscription services for individual games. Remember Phantasy Star Universe or FFIX online? They had separate fees on top of Xbox live. It can happen again. EA will adopt it if they feel it profitable.
I'm go...
I might be fat but I'm not fat and that lazy to lose my ownership rights.
