1080p offers twice the pixel density and clarity of 720p. Unless you are blind, it objectively looks better. Period. Direct X12 is the new "secret sauce." Even though Face Off after Face off will continue to show a gulf between the two systems in terms of performance. X1 has a 1.2 TF GPU. Why wouldn't you just play on PC? It has controller support. Its not $500 either, its $500 + Live. You can grab the PC version for less than $40 at certain retailers and it only needs a 2008/2009 GPU to run it at 1080p. Game is still ugly as sin though, terrible assets.

360 sold two hundred and something thousand in its first January, and it was supply constrained. Xbox One is not and other than MS fangirls, who bought the first couple million, general consumers have spit at the price and laughable hardware (yes even the dummest person can figure out or hear on Twitter how they're being fleeced).

Those are the people with an X1 or a CRT TV. Like the old folks with their rotary phones and no time for "new fangled" cellulars. What the Hell has happened that 1080p, which was a standard since the damn sets were introduced years ago is even a point of contention. Its a standard. The baseline. We're moving onto 4K now (well, the enthusiasts). That anyone should have to argue this shows how far MS missed the market.
Well that's part of the problem with game-reviews isn't it? They're just glorified Gamefaqs.com User reviews. This review is just from someone who is as in love with their Lightning waifu as Toriyama. Its not grounded in reality. Even if you like the game, the whole XIII series is critically flawed. Nearly ever reviewer agrees and where there's smoke, there's fire. They can't all be wrong. Highest this game has scored so far is an 8. That's terrible for a mainline IP like this.
Also, the XIIIs are selling less and less. So consumers have the same apathy.
The Order is not 900p.
