Okay, "ten times" was clearly an exaggeration. The Xbone doesn't have that many games for such a sample, as we can see:

Battlefield, AC, MGS, PVZ, Ryse, Crimson Dragon, Trials Fusion, Watch Dogs, CoD: Ghosts, Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, Titanfall, and more just off the top of my head. Its about 50/ 50, whi...
"I see still no reason why people give a crap about this so much. Honestly, any one that claims they can see a difference on a 50" 720/1080 at a distance of greater than 4ft are lying."
Umm, no, you may want to consider a check-up with the optometrist. Fonts, particle density, spacing, depth of field, and field of view are ALL affected by 720p vs. 1080p resolutions. Text is finer, edges are naturally smoother while texture resolution is higher. If you take a P...
The list of games that ARE NOT 1080p on the X1 is about ten times as large as that. And as others have pointed out, there are errors in your list.
BF: HL is 900p in the Playstation 4 beta. A reasonable amount of skepticism is necessary when told that it will somehow hit 1080p/ 60 on weaker hardware. I guarantee you that they miss the mark in either resolution of FPS. Or just look towards the recent Sniper game to see what 1080p costs you in terms of effects and performance on the X1.
I don't know how some of you folk don't suffocate on your own rhetoric. If you want top performance for multiplats, get a PC. If ...
I am both disgusted and in awe of this development. Still, I'm hardly surprised. Casual, phone gamers have an incredible amount of sway and spending in this industry (yes, i-devices are part of the industry, and they have many games that aren't this shovelware/ star-chasing crap).
You know, Guyman, I'm getting tired of people preaching console agnosticism. Reality check, the PS4 is outselling its nearest competitor for a number of reasons; none of which are particularly earth-shattering to an observant individual.
- Despite the doomsayers on N4G, or concern trolls, the PS4 actually has more games overall, over twice as many out and in development, as the X1. Check any list you choose. Among those are F2P titles, that have no PS+ requirement or cost...
Mr. Pumblechook actually pays attention. He even laid everything out nice and tidy for the slow-reading or witted with bullet-points and concise phrasing. Listen to this man.
+1 for "Intelligent".
I think that most of the revulsion comes more from "Nexon" and "F2P". Those two words have never meant anything but doom for the wallet. I play lots of F2P and PC games, and every, single one of their titles is made to gouge the consumer. They have a monetize first, design later philosophy.
They need to drop the lame Parity Clause, and not on a case-by-case basis. Otherwise, Sony will continue to murder them when it comes to the volume of indies. Why would someone, particularly a less cash-rich, non AAA studio, cater first to the machine that's sold 1/2 as much and has a more complex architecture? These MS PR statements read like a lot of bluster, with no real substance. Actions speak louder than words. Just drop the damn clause.
I would assume its 3rd person, as I think some of that was rendered "in game engine", based on the particle effects and textures. Plus, there are melee characters, which are generally terrible in FPS settings. I really like the aesthetic. Could be promising.
Edit: Reread the press release: FPS. What a disappointment. So yeah, a re-skinned Borderlands with sci-fi/ fantasy elements. Honestly, this gen needs some bloody creativity.
The assumption here is that the game will draw millions of players at a time, I suppose. Game looks good, but the gated mechanics sound wonky and as$-backwards (read Massively's article if you don't know what I'm talking about).
Dedicated servers with high bandwidth and advanced protocols. The end.
If you continue reading its like 33% "plan" on having their NEXT game on PS4, and 23% on Xbox. Next-gen (current gen) is just gaining traction, by 2015 we'll have a better idea of the state of affairs with consoles.
Also, mobile and PC can exist synonymous with consoles. I don't know why die-hard console-warriors are so threatened by the proliferation of gaming. Its a good thing. More consumers, equals more potential deviation to consoles. More platforms and...
Dlacy13g, corporate shills are usually much more greasy and subtle. They usually lead with the whole: "I have all the systems, so I'm console agnostic, however *Sony/ Apple/ MS/ Nintendo* (whoever) has some practices that I really disagree with for such and such reasons. Shills have scripts to work with, and are rarely passionate. This poor dear is of the inflamitory-delusional state as PowerofGreen, only from the blue (Playstation) country of the Great Console War.
He may be trolling, but he's right to a degree. 2nd or 3rd place in the US/ UK is not a good place for the brand. And I don't think Sony will ever again be so sloppy as to let MS have that 1 year (1.5 in Europe) head-start. That said, there are certainly less in-your-face ways to express your opinion than the OP.
Only on N4G can you get a "well said" for posting something that is utterly, factually incorrect. As many have stated, 2 of those games are known to be sub-1080p, and Halo 5 isn't even out yet, so any speculation on its resolution is just that: speculation.
@ MichaelLito79. I hope you're doing satire. Or is this an Xbox fanboy-brain-swelling-thing? Where their reason centers are damaged by the love they feel for their plastic machines?

Jaded? Nah, this is all fun and games. I'm just not taken in by corporate rhetoric, sorry, mate. That goes for any of the Big 3 and their BS-spin-machines.
Its the difference between a 7670m (X1) and a 7870m (PS4), within a few, minor pipeline variances. These machines are so close to PCs that anyone who is any sort of a PC gamer has been saying that there is a discernible, but not unbearable gap between the two. Just like when you upgrade a video-card, you can push up resolution a bit, add AA, or turn on v-sync. But neither GPU is really a miracle worker. PS4's at least, is serviceable for 5 years. Both machines will age poorly this gen, th...
Yes, and zebras and computers are exactly the same.
Kim Kardashian's garbage game is worth like 200m after about a week on the market. It was probably made by interns; at least it looks as if it was. Therein lies the appeal of mobile: enormous profits, minimal investment and risk. Sure, lots of shovelware (and decent games on iOS and Android) fail, but really its far, far cheaper and less risky than any console game ever could be to develop.
Edit: On the plus side, I don't see why gamers are scared of this. Does anyon...
