Spend $150 on a Kinect, and get $150 worth of gaming goodness for free - as if I wasn't already excited enough about going to the Kinect NYC launch event, this takes my level of excitement to a completely new level!
I love the art style, even if I'm not entirely sold on the turn based aspect. That said, I'll definitely give it a run for its money next spring...
Sounds like a great time with an awesome bunch of gamers!
Personally, I think the author is confusing sexism with parody. Much like an exploitation film, Comic Jumper is fully aware that it is occasionally raunchy, distasteful, and even at times disrespectful to women - but all of this is meant to be taken in jest.
Perhaps as a reminder that the title's supposed sexism is all in good fun, twisted pixel gave Captain Smiley a headstrong, intelligent, and highly professional personal assistant, via Gerda. In a world chock full of ...
It certainly *looks* entertaining enough, but I reserve judgment until I get a chance to try it out myself.
Also, on a completely unrelated note, great choice of background song!
Until I see a physical device (as opposed to an engadget concept rendering) I'm going to chalk this up as a rumor. That said, I don't see this psp/phone hybrid coming out for quite some time - as their primary focus at present is their forthcoming Xperia line, spearheaded by the upcoming Xperia X10 series.
On a somewhat unrelated note, if this is real, will Sony be able to succeed (with the PSP phone) where Nokia failed (with the now-defunct NGage)?
While some gamers may be disinterested in fighting games due to their often complex controls, I believe an equal or greater amount of fighting game players will be irritated if developers intentionally "dumb down" the controls in attempt to gain more so-called mainstream attention.
Removing a deliberately deep, complex combo system, in favor of an easier one with little to no learning curve may well serve to lessen the overall game experience. Imagine, for instance...
Kind of a more serious take on those "Everything I need to know I learned from..." lists. Hooray for gaming making a positive impact!
I may be a little partial here, but choosing Gladriel over ebay seems like a no-brainer.
Given the choice being selling a game for $1, earning a free game when you sell any 3, and getting various incentives for selling your games, or paying at least a 10% final value fee with no incentives, I will take the first option.
Exclusives, as far as I am concerned, can potentially make or break console sales. A strong library of exclusive titles is an absolute must, regardless of the platform in question.
Whereas a console may survive with strong 1st party titles, and a limited number of 3rd party titles (like, for example the N64, which was roughly about 70/30 first to third party), the converse is NOT, nor has it ever been, true.
I'm not surprised - Gamestop, like most major retailers, does what they deem is in their best interest.
Good first impressions. That said, any idea how long the campaign mode is at this point, and more importantly, is there any replayability outside of multiplayer?
Quite possibly, one of the best deals I've seen going in a gaming marketplace...
I'm not sold on the utility of SF X Tekken and Tekken X SF as two separate, standalone games. I mean, yes, Street Fighter and Tekken's respective engines are dramatically different, but two concurrently(?) released titles seem to border on overkill.
Some great music here - but why no Rocket Riot, 'Splosion Man, or Sam and Max love?
I'm not entirely surprised SOE isn't offering any sort of discount on DCUO. That said, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the option for a lifetime subscription - as $14.99 seems a bit pricey.
Nice job on cleverly inserting song references at key points ;)
Books, movies, and now games - is there anything the Harry Potter franchise can't do? ;)
Symphony of violence? I like that one. Definitely a fitting description for Shank ;)
As entertaining as the fact that Castro makes an appearance in Black Ops is, Cuba's official rebuke on is perhaps even more so!
