I'd just report the account and not waste the energy on them. It is clear what the intention is.

OT: Although he said NOTHING of a shift in focus. He's simply saying that they'll put more effort into multiplayer with the PS5. Read the article (it's quick).

4s and 5s don't mean there's nothing worthwhile in it.

The only sad thing is your willingness to live in denial.

Oh well.

Again, no. You're wrong. It was always a 3rd Party title and it just landed on Switch. No need to "spin" anything. You're just not in tune with the subject.

@Mr_Writer85: The unit gap wouldn't be as big if Sony had BC? I'm not understanding what you're saying there. As far as 'disappointment', the number of people worried about BC, especially at launch, was hardly some staggering number. And the unit sales total would have been exceptionally large between PS and Xbox regardless of it,.

They aren't in the same ballpark in that regard.

They are not partners. This is releasing on the system because it was already a multiplatform game and the deal was probably on its way before that.

Clearly they know what to avoid repeating, or this article wouldn't exist.

For most, it isn't necessary. But, as you will learn in this age of "I have a right to speak errrr..... complain on social media", the very select few make enough noise that it still finds its way into news articles.

Bottom line, Sony sold nearly 100 million PS4's in under 6 years. Without BC! Clearly, most don't care that much.

He was talking about the PS3. ^_^

Actually, I simply responded to your words (if they were off topic, that isn't on me). I'm just saying that, while I agree with the notion that gamers should try to be as bipartisan as possible, that needs to happen from the messenger as well.

Not a big deal.

"You PlayStation gamers"

Funnily enough, that actually goes back to the hypocrisy that I am talking about (also funny considering I game on PC and couldn't care less about allegiances).

Regardless, if your message is that gamers should be more open to each others' differences, keep that as your platform. But, when you say stuff like the nonsense above, it makes your point null, because you do not truly believe it.

Just...

You don't have to trash Sony's games to reach my point. You haven't always been so easy to deal with and this is a welcome change from you.

I'd just like to see more of this from you if you seek it from others. Don't speak as if other gamers are an issue if you, yourself, can be part of the problem. That's all.

"All three do great things"

"Only if same level of sportsmanship was shared by gamers "

Remember this in the future. Your comments haven't always been so bipartisan.

OT: PlayStation giving credit where due..... again. Without Nintendo, and PlayStation, gaming would not be where it is today. They paved the way for competitors like Xbox and continue to be industry leaders to this day!

Saying and doing are very different things. No need for the ‘concern’.

Forget? I don't think he can name everybody, but Sakaguchi is surely someone to note!

Well said, SuperSonic. Sony has really well and truly helped pioneer this concept. Nintendo opened the door, Sony joined. They are the corporations to thank! :)

Sony is the last company I'm worried about either releasing big/small games or ANY at all. ^_^

Because that isn't exactly what he said:

"And with our decision to do fewer games -- bigger games -- over longer periods of time, we got to a point where June of 2019 was not a time for us to have a new thing to say. And we feel like if we ring the bell and people show up here in force, people have expectation "Oh, they're going to tell us something."

He'd rather not give us a false sense of hope when he knows games are either f...

Based on nothing but the same SonyToo™ stuff that many of you preached when Sony flat out denied ever planning to do the same things Microsoft did during their Xbox One reveal.

OT: As other, more sensible, people have said, thank the Lord! Not that I want to see Fortnite die, per se, I just don't want every shooter to become Fortnite. So, I'm with Layden on this idea.
