I’m sure Sony knew this before acquiring them. So they’re much less ‘thankful’ and more satisfied with their choice. On top of that, I’m sure it is MM who are thankful to be one of MANY studios that can call themselves part of the PlayStation family.

@LordJamar

Always find it cute to be called a fanboy (the most generic term) when I’m a PC gamer. Pure, unadulterated, comedy. Then to be called dumb is even funnier. Remember, a weak argument is one that has to be accompanied by an insult. ;)

When you decide to exit LaLa Land, you’ll know that not everything these companies do will elicit a direct response. Otherwise, show me five times Sony did this, particularly this gen, and I’ll open the door to the ...

In terms of media coverage, it was.

Not only can that not be proven, Sony seldom reacts on impulse to anything Microsoft is doing. Amazing that people feel they [Microsoft] have that kind of pull in the industry, but it's clear who has the better strategy.

Exactly

Nah, but I expect another solid entry into the series.

You’ve clearly read too far into things (I get why, but slow your role while you ‘hope’ Sony is turning into Microsoft).

That’s like saying Uncharted selling so well kept Naughty Dog from creative freedom (something Sony has a documented history of giving their teams), but out comes The Last Of Us.

Not the best of statements there.

Indeed.

@Spurg

Um, I didn’t argue otherwise. Good thing they aren’t just making VR games.

They aren’t full multi-platform (they’ve announced that they’re currently making several PlayStation exclusives). They just happened to go multi with The Dark Pictures.

That’s down to the developer, not strictly the part.

Yep, they’ll have an understanding of what we have on PC!

Last I checked, a '6' wasn't trash, but then, this generation of gamers think anything under 8 is bad. So no shock there.

Nothing wrong with saying that AAA is of better quality than Indie (though that doesn't take a Master's Degree to know), but a lot of your issues are not reflected among the majority and critics/feedback agree.

Slender is FAR from trash (and thankfully most who've played it agree). Neither SOMA nor Amnesia are boring (and also were reviewed well by gamers and critics alike). 'I barely even played these two' says a lot, because your view of things can't be taken seriously with such an admission.

Thus, the '3/10' you speak of is very much a personal issue, not at all indicative of a real percentage of bad→good in Indie Horror titles.

An what Indie Horror games have you played that are bad?

Soy and Nintendo could both put there games on PC. It isn't owned by Microsoft, unlike Xbox.

@S2Killinit

That was actually an excellent analogy!

@Neonridr

It comes with Ultimate Edition, not Gears 1. The above article is incorrectly promoting that.

https://www.xbox.com/en-US/...

“In addition to Gears 5, get full-game downloads of Gears of War Ultimate Edition and Gears 2, 3, and 4.”

They're promoting 4K with the bundle. Neither Judgment nor the original Gears are in 4K on the X. Thus, their omission.

I pre-ordered one of these bad boys at GameStop and learned all of that then.
