OT: Seems any time Xbox does something good, there’s an article with a hyperbolic statement attached to it. I say just be happy for another great Gears installment (which is typical of this series) and not try to make it more than it is.
You haven’t invalidated anything, I’m afraid. You said there were exclusive(s) but then go on to just mention Halo 5.
His point was that going forward, nothing will be exclusive to Xbox. There will always be a PC version. Anyone truly paying attention understood what he was saying.
But the ignorant one is you. I get that scrounging up ONE exclusive game makes this exciting, but you did nothing to kill his point.

He's right. For a game to be exclusive, it means only on one. When I can buy Microsoft published games on more than one platform, and one of those platforms is not a platform they own (no, PC is not their platform), then the game is not an exclusive.

Because Insomniac wanted to remain independent. Obviously with this move, things have changed within the company and no other publisher was a better fit than SIE.
I’m sure Sony knew this before acquiring them. So they’re much less ‘thankful’ and more satisfied with their choice. On top of that, I’m sure it is MM who are thankful to be one of MANY studios that can call themselves part of the PlayStation family.

That’s like saying Uncharted selling so well kept Naughty Dog from creative freedom (something Sony has a documented history of giving their teams), but out comes The Last Of Us.

Um, I didn’t argue otherwise. Good thing they aren’t just making VR games.
They aren’t full multi-platform (they’ve announced that they’re currently making several PlayStation exclusives). They just happened to go multi with The Dark Pictures.
That’s down to the developer, not strictly the part.

Yeah, people tend to look at it so fondly because it was the last of SEGA. It was a decent console, but when paired with other consoles of the time, particularly the PS2, it didn’t look as hot.
Just a great idea that never quite reached its full potential.
