Although you know this and simply like to type whatever nonsense you choose, it isn't Sony in the position of "you better". I mean, Xbox doesn't haven the selling power of PlayStation. How you realistically see them in the better market position is beyond logic, and because of that, it's best to assume that you know it's nonsense and are simply looking for a wall to stick things to.
That or you are truly clueless.
Being part of the crowd who invented the 'secret sauce', I'm sure you know plenty about it. :)
@CaptainHenry916
The interesting thing is those who argue in favor of the SSD actually have a stronger point. It's an actual part inside the machine and can give you real world results. Floating point operations/second are, yes, a computational potential, but that's the extent. It's only a buzzword now because console gamers latch on to s...
And I can run it, right now, at 144HZ on a device far better. So, you made absolutely no point at all. This is on top of the fact that, given the chance, the PS5 would be able to run Gears 5 under those same conditions I know some of you see some major "gap" here, but it doesn't exist.
Is the Series X more powerful? Yes. Is it big (like Pro → X big)? No. Not even close.
Not really (I say this as a dual Titan Xp/i9 7920X/64GB DDR4 PC user), but a very capable gaming console one that's as close to a high-end PC as it gets. But not in the 'monster' status (something like rockin' dual 2080Ti's or Titan RTXs).
Because..... it is?
Not near impossible at all. Can always improve, even on something as polished as TLOU was.
This is a pretty poor post, even for you.
Enough companies are pulling out of events. Shouldn’t take rocket science to see that it isn’t about some manufactured ‘fear’ from Sony.
Um, I don’t invest my life in being ‘nervous’ about a gaming company’s actions. Seems like you’re projecting a personal problem.
"if and when these AAAs release and are quality what will the rebuttal of Sony fans be"
Read that back to yourself. Sony fans don't need a rebuttal when the company they support will DEFINITELY have these things. Instead of pointing fingers (or putting them in your ears), hope that Microsoft ups their game and puts out a steady flow of high quality content (like Nintendo and Sony continue to do).
As would the Next Xbox, IF that were to happen.
Ironically, some of the usuals who were so ‘concerned’ about Sony pulling out of events have gone quiet in the wake of other companies doing the same.
MLB: The Show, an exception, with a licensing stipulation. What are the other Sony owned franchises coming to other platforms that aren't PC? Just accept it. Want to play PlayStation games? Buy a PlayStation or, for the occasional game, build a PC.
Nope. PC and PlayStation. That's as far as any PlayStation owned property will go.
@bigc072004
Um, for starters, the ‘master race’ nonsense is irrelevant since no one brought up PC (my main gaming platform, but again, irrelevant).
Next, the whole ‘we steal ideas’ talk is also irrelevant (every company borrows or uses other ideas - nothing new and not exclusive to American companies). The bottom line is Apple is an American company and they sell their product in Japan by the truckload, so the excuse that Xbox sells poorly there due to so...
And yet they love iPhone. The Xbox’s issue is its own.
If it meant ‘nothing’, no one would be talking about it.
Source to that tweet?
Play the game first. On top of that, it's the story they want to tell. Don't know what is/isn't needed until you play it, unless you want to also say that violence isn't needed in games. Then, many, MANY of them wouldn't exist. Thankfully, that won't happen, and these people tell the stories they want to tell.
There are 'beasts' and then there's PlayStation!
"The PC versions offers a number of settings and features that set it apart from the game’s console iterations. For starters, the frame rate is fully unlimited. DOOM Eternal is not a CPU-intensive game. This means that, with sufficiently powerful hardware, frame rates in excess of 200 FPS are possible, especially at lower resolutions. It also means that 4K/60 FPS gameplay is possible, even on hardware like the RTX 2070 Super that’s better suited to 1440p".
Nah, th...
