Yeah, I’d ignore them.
OT: Sounds good! Bring in the 12th!
Yeeeep.
Um, Sony acquired studios and helped helped make them what they are today. That's the way it SHOULD work. Not simply buying a publisher to fill a gap that shouldn't have existed in the first place.
Btw, you also left out Santa Monica, Sony San Diego, and Japan Studio (among others). Built internally and have continued to prosper. Sony is EXACTLY like Nintendo when it comes to in-house studios and it shows in their exclusive output (which are often nominated for GOTY...
Correct.
I know you'll spin one versus the other, but companies pay for exclusivity. Part of the business. In this regard, Microsoft is no different from Sony.
Of course, Sony would keep those things exclusive, but they also MAKE exclusive games with studios they've long acquired and nurtured to further growth. The new acquisitions need to prove they were worth it before singing the tunes. Unless something catastrophic happens, PlayStation is surely to dominate again.
If they aren't getting the games right (you know, just THE MOST IMPORTANT THING about a console), then they have a long road ahead and are already steps behind their competition where it matters.
As proven by the early preorders..... oh wait. That isn't happening. Just stop.
Uh, what truth exactly? That Microsoft had to buy a publisher for Xbox to even have a fighting chance against a brand that has backhanded it generation after generation? That truth?
Though I think Sony will eventually have to, somewhat, play ball here, I've said this before. It's an admittance of defeat in a certain realm and Sony remains in the much better position going forward.
It doesn't matter. Many, many people still struggled to get one.
In other words, giving an exact time didn't prevent this from ALSO being a crapshoot.
As I noted before, I named two. But, cool. Live in your world. Just thought the hypocrisy was funny.
Interesting. I guess it IS a must have then. :)
I named two actually, but when you're so wrapped in nonsense, you tend to miss little details like that. Still waiting to hear what Xbox Series X has that could lead it to beat the PS5, since you tried to avoid answering that.
I need to hear this "truth". :)
Couldn't care less what YOU think aren't must haves. Point is, they have games that people will buy their platform for (Demon's Souls and Miles Morales both fitting the bill).
While you wait, since you brought up Xbox, what must have games do the Series X have that should lead them to victory over PS5 this holiday?
If PlayStation doesn’t have the games, in what universe will the Series X stand a chance? This has to be a parody post, as it is that illogical.
OT: It’ll be down to Nintendo or PlayStation.
Spouting nonsense as usual.
OT: Of course Sony won’t take this route. Their strategy makes them more money, they sell more games, and, as a result, many, many more people buy their console. Ain’t broke? Don’t fix it.
I guess that's why millions upon millions RUSHED to grab PS5 preorders yesterday and good bunch (albeit, less) will do the same for Xbox next week?
Enjoy what you enjoy. I'd prefer not to bicker with you, as we're all here for the games regardless of preference.
Let the games do the talking before we run with narratives of who’s design is better.
