Exactly.
You proved nothing and are usually inaccurate. So, yes, be done. :)
I’m talking about what you’re known for - over analyzing (usual critical) of anything PlayStation. No one said nor implied that Cerny/Sony invented the SSD.
Just own it, I’m not the only one who sees it.
Just your usual anti-PlayStation babbling. As noted, you aren’t fooling anyone.
OT: Fabulous! That thing is ridiculous - and this comes from someone who has two fast Gen 3 SSDs in his PC!
Exactly
Instead of attacking people, why not grasp that Microsoft has a history of hyping and under delivering? You don’t have to be a ‘fanboy’ of anything to see that.
Well said!
Yeah, he's one to ignore. Most of us do.
OT: Of course! The system has been on a roll since its announcement and hasn't slowed!
"In all fairness" - Right. You are always about the "but Sony/PlayStation" nonsense.
OT: One of the hesitations I have with buying a Series X. Any, and every, game I could buy on it, I have a far more powerful PC to play said games on.
No two ways about it — the system needs something to showcase what's capable of.
Which, of course, is false.
Actually, with Sony raking in 9.16B (Operating, 11.04B Net) with PlayStation contributing just 1/3 of that operating amount (3B). This was in their latest financials. While PlayStation makes them plenty, it isn't the largest (or even primary) money maker.
For Nintendo though, I agree, but that's because they are strictly a gaming company.
@darthv72
I've looked this up. Sony was never in actual danger of shutting down (despite a small amount of sources who speculated this).
Sony is in their own league, of course.
Still, big ups to Nintendo! I appreciate what they bring to this industry!
I mean, you can tell yourself what ever you want. The fact is the PS5 loads the game a good deal faster. No if/and-s/buts/could be-s/what if-s.
@Orchard
No. Nothing disappears. The load times are the load times, no matter how many ways you try to spin it.
The ACTUAL comparison.
In short: 3-4 frame advantage, in one section, for the X. 7 Second load advantage for PS5! Visually identical!
What they actually said was there is a small edge in SOME frame-times for the X, while the PS5 pulls ahead in loading (some 7 seconds, in fact).
"there's only one sequence that really causes problems - a specific lake area. The body of water here uses ray traced reflections, the scene itself is complex and there is a large enemy hunting you which can spawn lots of alpha particles. As a result, performance takes a significant hit and both drop into the 40s, with Ser...

For the REAL comparison. PS5 load times are magnificent, for example!
VRR mainly deals with refresh rates. For example…
If you have a G-sync compatible (this is important, as it signifies the absence of a hardware module in the unit) monitor, capable, let’s say, of 144Hz, chances are, VRR will be effective between 48Hz and 144Hz (anything outside of those ranges may result in screen tearing). With a G-sync hardware monitor, the lower number usually drops to 30, obviously making it more effective. To fully eliminate screen tearing, you need V-...
@Imalwaysright
There was a time when I disagreed with you fiercely. Lately, I find that being a serious thing if the past! 100% agree with you here!
