dude, you need to get more info. there are going to be so many options(at least that's what is being said) available in home. check out what insomniac and naughty dog have planned. (for example)
it isn't as embarrassing as ms selling a defective console that has RRODed how many million times? not trying to argue. home needs to come out and pushing back the date is ridiculous, but Microsoft looks much worse by rushing the 360 to market only to still be dealing with the RROD issue 3 YEARS AFTER LAUNCH!
i agree with what you're saying but... i don't think sony can hold KZ back. it needs to come out in sept. with resistance in nov. and GOW3 and 2 FF games early next year(?) i think sept needs to be launch month for this game.
lots speculation that new KZ footage is coming soon. and resistance gameplay trailer on june 13. couple that with MGS4 coming june 12 and ms might believe they need to release it as soon as possible to keep good buzz going for new customers. hope it's long enough to get a good taste!
i like free stuff. no matter how much xbox players want to rant about ms "superior" service; they really are just trying to validate their paying for something others get for free. bottom line: if you're happy with what you are doing-keep doing it. but for me, free is better.
this is a little off topic but when so many of you above mention gears great "gameplay"; nobody ever bothers to offer specifics of the gameplay you are refering to. when you throw that word out there, it doesn't really mean anything unless you offer a couple of specifics to back it up. and this is true for anyone talking about any game,(whether it's mario galaxy, uncharted or gears or whatever title) not just this one.
what storyline are you refering to? the story in gears was simplistic and full of holes. if this story made you buy a 360 then your book choices must include "see jane run".

foolish article. GTA4 will be the biggest selling game ever. i'm looking forward to it, yes- but not more than some other games. (like MGS4,KZ2,and GeOW2) but, GTA series has more of a mass appeal than any of the halo games. only FF might come close. add to this that the game will be available for more gamers than the halo series.

i'm not playing anything new. when i get GTA at midnight launch, i'll be playing for at least 24 hours(minus bathroom and food breaks.) playing a clone of GTA would be like eating beef jerky till your steak comes to the table.
even before i read the story i had one thought: YEA, WE WANT TO SEE KZ2- GIVE US SOME NEW GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE!! if KZ is coming this year, they need to start showing more.
when i heard this was coming out, i thought it was a game that should have been out last year. now, with GTA, MGS, Haze, KZ, Resistance, GeOW, Mafia 2 coming; this game seems veeeeery dated. i wasn't planning on getting it so not a big deal. will agree though, that the devs did a lousy job with this. id should be embarrassed by this devs effort.

this is what bugs me about this site. if a story comes out about a ps3/x360-sure enough, some fan of the system in question will feel they have to respond with an opposing story (which is factual or not). this has always bothered me, regardless of console preference.
