hopefully, enough improvements have been made to warrant the hype.
i didn't see more than 3(although there might have been 4) after the tech demo, if i don't see large battles (at least as big as the ones in resistance 1); then epic misled us about facing 100's of locusts at once.
then you're doing to resistance what people who haven't played gears is doing to it. have you played resistance 1? can't believe you have because: 1. the amazing weapons you get let you use all sorts of strategy during the game(plus they are a blast to use) 2. the story is one of the most interesting i've seen in a game.(just like the KZ or bioshock stories) those 2 points (in my humble opinion) put resistance "in the same league" as the other two games.

read what you wrote and try to realize how stupid it sounds. i agree that they aren't gaming gods. i never decide what purchases i make due to reviews. but, i had paid for this over a year ago so it's just nice to hear the game sounds awesome and worth the cash.(as if i had any doubt to begin with)
it's too bad you sound so bitter at this game living up to expectations. but don't worry, you'll be getting to play NG2.(hahahaha)
29 hrs divided by 3 is a little over 9 hrs and since 2/3 of time is gameplay that means almost 19 hrs is gameplay!!! which is still waaaaaaay more than any of your 360 games. so, why don't you go hide whereever trolls hide?
also, GR is TALKING TO THE GUY WHO FIRST REVIEWED THE GAME IN OPM!!!! this isn't a review-just questioning the guy who did the review. why don't you read first instead of making an as5 of yourself.
neither does a worn-out UR3 engine. neither does a chainsaw. the wow factor has worn off that weapon. don't forget that.
you've never seen a rail shooting sequence in another game? neck breaking in MGS. the cover mechanic from killswitch. uh, and COD4 never looked as realistic as KZ2
the word you need in your post is "site" not "sight". sight has to do with vision, or seeing things. oh, you also spelled "believe" wrong. i'd go easy calling others idiots until you master the english language. on top of which, KZ2 destroys gears2. wow, did you make yourself look like a complete boob.
it was as simple as locust attacks humans and humans fight back. so why do you "know" gears 2 will have a good story?
i think MGS4 gives gears an a55 whipping too.
when it's out, then some comparisons can be made. even my 90 year old, non-gaming grandmother understands this. you must have been born brain dead or just mouth off without the correct info.
so who is forcing epic to use the same engine? nobody. there using it because they created it. too bad for them too as it seems to be showing it's limitations.
kinda like your posts. the first one sucks and sure enough, the rest suck just as much. i guess you forgot gears lack of story, poor level design, too many "on rails shooting" segments, boring weapons(except for the chainsaw!), multi-player glitches and very weak final level. oh, and even with the chainsaw- there was no strategy involved in using it. just attack and hope it hits.(that's good gameplay?) i could critique it even further if you'd like to continue this.

you're entitled to your opinion, but i believe everything you've been saying is very flawed thinking. but don't let what i think stop you from thinking up arguements to defend every move ms makes. it's a hoot reading the fiction you write.
what does extortion and ripping people off have to do with "a great time to be a gamer"? it's people like you who ruin launch days for others who REALLY want a system. those are the real gamers.

you must like the fog effect in the gears trailer? and did you notice the screen blurred every time marcus shot at something? and gameplay? what they showed was a rails shooter. marcus was "tied" to a derrick and simply shot stuff around him. the human shield stuff? that's been done before. neck breaking? been done before. that's what your basing your comment on? i think gears 2 looks like more of the first game and this isn't a bad thing. but there isn't anything out there that mat...
