why? i'm a ps3 owner and it doesn't bother me. sony is going to offer home for free, so when/if it comes, i'll check it out to see how i like it. if you and others want to joke about it, go ahead, cause i agree with you. sony needs to get this out no later than fall of '08 or they might as well throw it out.

i don't think it's a question of devs "running with it" if they GET more space. i think it's more they (devs) won't be able to fit the game they are making on a standard dvd9. houser isn't saying they'll use space IF available. he's saying they NEED (for next GTA) more space than the 360 has.
i thought houser had guts to say about the x360: "if were filling up the disk(dvd9) right now, where are we going? our games aren't getting any smaller." this has to be thought by more devs than rockstar. and he isn't being critical of the 360 system, he's asking a legitimate question. compression can only do so much.
