but gives us some new areas to see, then i'm stoked. if this game comes off bad, it will top rockstars flop with the GTA freezeups.
getting a look at KZ and resistance next week. MGS4 coming in 5 weeks-wow ( i'm also curious to see what epic is doing with gears. for them to bring out a trailer next week with sonys' gamer day; well, they must have something pretty outstanding if their showing it against 2 of sonys biggest games. this coming week will surely be interesting
i feel sorry for the game that doesn't come out of the gate smoking; cause the fanboys will destroy it.
---it's called halo. and if you like a shooter with no new, innovative weapons; no strategy in using said weapons and absolutely NO STORY WHATSOEVER- then yea, gears is a great game.
i'll say this- if you are happy with what ms is offering this year, great! but- KZ2, MGS4, and resistance 2 are going to be better than what you think. metal gear is "good"? KZ 2 will be "overshadowed"? you keep thinking that. when metal gear comes out in june, i'll be looking for your opinion.
i agree that there is a problem and it affects both systems. but, as i said in another post. i'm not having any trouble. and why would i say that if i am (having trouble)? if i was having trouble i would be nagging about it. so, i agree there is a problem with the game that NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED; but, it isn't with everyone. but, this game does not deserve a 10 rating.

the review scores it's getting could be related to the same reasons halo 3 got such great scores- all the hype leading up to those reviews. both games were hyped (and looked forward to) by everyone. the final products may have been less than perfect, but they both received a bunch of "9.7 and up" scores even though both games really didn't merit them.
i've played 25 hrs since launch and not one issue. i'm especially impressed with the framerate and lack of pop-in when driving like a maniac through the streets and alleys. by the way, how would YOU know it's every ps3? it hasn't affected me in any way, so(even though you're upset) please don't over-exaggerate. and i have a launch 60 gig ps3.
look at all their updates. they have no clue what's going on and yet they still insisted on putting out the initial story. have they never heard of getting a "bad" game? i have a 60 gig launch ps3 and my GTA is working fine.... wow! it must be divine intervention allowing my copy to work, huh? come on, if they don't know what the reason is; they should'nt be guessing.
what, nobody has ever heard of some games being bad? my copy is running fine on a launch 60 gig ps3. but on the ps2 i once got a bad copy of madden and my first copy of resident evil 4 froze on a cutscene half-way through the game!! replayed to the same point 3 times before i took it back to gamestop. next copy never had that trouble. check the updates on this story. 360 game is having same isolated trouble. don't blow this out of proportion. if you get a bad copy of the game, take it back an...
right now the producer(Zamkoff) is saying the ps3 is better at AA and gamesradar is guessing that the ps3 version will be the better "visual experience". right now, many reviews (except for kotaku) are saying ps3 version of GTA is sharper looking with less pop-in and better framerate. although ratchet, uncharted, MGS4 GTp, KZ2 aren't multi-platform; they show what can be done on the ps3 AND a leap in anything the 360 is going to do.(although we haven't seen gears 2) also, i just rea...

i'm not trying to argue; just answering your question. i went back and looked, and on everything that says review, it has only ps3 beside it. in the game info block where the score is given- at the bottom it says "also on x360". that is only time the 360 is mentioned anywhere. i didn't take this as the x360 has gotten a 10 review score or has been reviewed yet. we'll have to wait and see.
when resistance 2 and KZ2 comes out; who cares about dlc? not me.

the multi-console owner makes up a very small percentage of the gamer population. and one game(even GTA) isn't going to make or break ms or sony. so just buy GTA and enjoy it.
the guy who wrote the article seems to think motorstorms final name being announced is the most exciting thing from this show? and he knows KZ and resistance are there too?....europeans, try and figure them out.
