why would you feel gears 2 story will be great?

rrod,last gen dvd drive, system can't play hd movies, almost non-existant 1st party games. a year head start with no next gen competition and wii has passed them and sony will in the next year. sony may have shot themselves in the foot, but ms killed themselves.

he said this on more than 1 occasion. it's the first thing i thought of when ps3 bioshock was confirmed.

calling something "AAA" means nothing if you don't like the game. for ex. many people consider halo(x360) or final fantasy(ps3) to be AAA. but, if you don't like one of these, why would you buy the system(or the game).
i buy ps because of of exclusive titles like ratchet and clank, jak and daxter, socom, FF, GOW, KZ, resistance, MGS, twisted metal,(hopefully more come out!) unc...

having the game delayed isn't the end of the world. if it ends up being great; that's all that matters.
really, do you think someone(involved with the dev. of a game) is going to come out and say "our game is a mess and we went back to the drawing board?
we just won't know what shape this game is in till they are willing to show a trailer. i wasn't thrilled with the direction they were taking the game. i hope they get back to the stealth theme.
i don't think the freezing issue is the fault of the hardware.(regardless of system) GTA had freeze issues on both consoles. i think it comes down to the developers. of course, i'm not qualified enough to know for sure, but every so often games have this problem. since all games don't freeze, i would say it has to be the devs of the game in question.
superfragilistic, if sources aren't named, then credibility of story is questionable. and in no way can you stop MGS4 from being huge. i don't care what the install requirements are and looking forward to watching every second of cutscenes. love games that have an immersive story.
they hand out 9's and 10's like candy at halloween. this game must have a few issues.
rockstar won't get my money on day 1 ever again. and since they couldn't get the main game right, why would i expect dlc to be better? no thanks.
i wouldn't get GTA dlc even if it was on ps3 and FREE! the retail game was a let-down-why would i want to play more? (plus, i've already traded the game in to finish paying for MGS pre-order.
i agree there is no "plot against the ps3" but this guy rips the MGS series every chance he gets and it reads like a personal blog, not a review. the score i don't have a problem with. he's entitled to review the game as it plays out. resistance has better story, weapons. more strategy and 40 player online. gears had the better visuals but that's to be expected-it came out a year into 360 cycle and resistance was a launch game. gloves come off in nov.
