it started on the ps1. then to gamecube. and this was actual development work-not just "on paper" lol. i remember reading about it. but, if 2.5 years of 360 dev. time ends up to what i've seen in previews; then, this has taken too much time to complete.
and atari has struggled for years so i didn't expect this game to amount to much. i thought maybe i might rent it but now i don't think so.
i really don't care how many of anything sells; but you're saying it's impossible? have you noticed how the ps2 continues to sell? as sonys' price gets better and if they do plan on a 8-10 year cycle for ps3- it's very possible if you look at the math.
and your logic is skewed. you say it's impossible for sony system (at a higher price) to maintain 10 mil a year when you know price will continue to get better. but you say it's very possible for wii to contiue to sell as good as...
xbox 1 was out for 4 years and sold around 24-25 million. going by numbers now, 360 will sell 30-32 mil in 4 years. that's not a huge increase in numbers. the wii is doing well because of price and the controller fad. it won't last because not enough games. and even if it does last; it is aimed at an entirely diff. audience than ps3 or x360.
if sonys system is really selling at a better pace than the ps2, then it's possible to sell 100 million. i think the real key for sony is ...

don't forget about the storyline. KZ1 story was great and 2 will continue it. us ps3 gamers are really getting the gold now. as far as games with story goes we've gotten or will get: ratchet, uncharted, MGS4, bioshock with new content, resistance 2, KZ2, GOW3, FF13.....wow! (hopefully ND announces the new jak and daxter series soon)
with this out, it will show other devs what can be done this gen and hopefully push them to make better games.
