sure, graphically, doesn't hold up to current games; but incredible weapons allows lots of diff. options for tackling each battle. the story (which is continued in 2,3)is amazing.(i'm hooked and want more!) along with nice control scheme are the things that make resistance great. if insomniac adds to the graphics; it's just icing on an already veeeery delicious cake.

i'm into snakes final mission and then i want to play through again and explore all the weapons of the game and mess around with diff. styles of play. man, this game is gonna be so great.
at best, it's an 8. i'll never be buying GTA5 until a couple months after launch to see if people are liking the game. review sites can't be trusted anymore.
when has multi-player been the reason for buying a MGS game? never. it's about snake and the story. by the time they post a review; nobody will be reading- they'll be playing MGS4. only thing that's going to pry people away from the game will be resistance 2 gameplay on friday.
i guess this means ign will no longer be posting any reviews until after a game is out in order to test multi-player? or is it just this game?
if you re-read the article, he mentions blu more than once. and he mentions using blu and VOD to move away from the physical dvd. meaning he wants blu to become the standard over standard dvd9? it's all up to interpretation. but if i want to own a movie- i want it on a blu disc.

other rpgs are great, but none launches to the expectations and success of FF.
i thought it was several styles of games. i'm not sure. what's more curious to me is: you'd really rather play a fable rpg than a final fantasy rpg? that boggles the mind. i imagine a FF7 remake would outsell any brand new fable game, but, to each his own.
1.where in your "performance assessment" is how well each machine actually runs. i mean, the failure rate for 360 largest for any electronics ever. in comparison that way: ps3 wins.

but we don't know enough about it. if there is some strategy to it(upgradable equipment purchased with money earned from pictures for ex.) this could be an ok game. but if it's simply take pictures for a book of some kind- it would have to be much cheaper(19-29 dollars) and marketed to parents with younger kids.
the people who loved COD4 were mostly talking about the multi-player. the campaign mode sucked. too short. too linear. and the sniper level i was looking forward to the most: big disappointment. i didn't want that guy leading me through the whole level. i also thought the story seemed like an after-thought.
i'm looking forward to KZ2 because i was hooked on the story from KZ1. i also loved the fact that there is no music in the game. that made the sounds of battle so much more...
