ever since sony has offered everything for free; it's been a success for me. and when home comes out; it's free too. if your happy paying for something like XBL, ok, but i don't think it's too smart.

funny, where was this guys predictions on the gamecube, xbox, N64, dreamcast, saturn, 32x add-on, jaguar, 3DO? he missed a few, and now he decides to pick on a company with nothing but success? wow.
as a matter of fact; it downloaded pretty fast (about 25 minutes). and it surprised me because there were stories on this site that said it was taking forever to download. lots of nonsense to sift through on N4G

just remember that it works both ways. i honestly don't get what you see in halo. bioshock? brilliant! ME? good story; very entertaining. but halo? if someone isn't into multi-player only, then it's a steaming pile of crap in just about every way possible. and as for MGS vs. halo? it's MGS easily. halo series has been in existance for...5 years? let me know when they're still making halo in 20 years - on any system.
going by what you just said; gamecube sales should have went big after everyone got a ps2, but this never happened. nor did it happen for the xbox1.
